@Solarisknight05 what the Catholic church do not understand is, hindi lahat ng mga Pilipino ay maka-Diyos at hindi lahat ng mga Pilipino ay sumusunod sa utos ng Diyos. Meron pa rin nagdi-divorce at nag-aabuso sa mga asawa.
Kaya ang responsibility ng gobyerno is to provide pathways para sa mga tao na gumawa ng mga batas na patas para makagawa sila ng mga decision sa sarili nilang mga buhay.
@Solarisknight05 Because dear, we are a secular state. As is written in our Constitution, there is a separation of the church and the state. Our Muslim brothers have the option for divorce, why can't we, non Muslim citizens also have the option for divorce?
@Solarisknight05 I believe in God. I believe he wouldn't want to preserve a loveless marriage where abuse happens. Just because we are a secular state, does not mean all the people in it are atheists. What I am saying is, respect other people who don't believe the same set of doctrines you believe in. And most importantly, do not impose your beliefs on others.
