I have this exact same 45 that I bought in 1972 at around the age of 11. The first time I heard it, it woke something in me. Sometimes popular music had real substance back then.
I first heard this in school when I was 11 years old in 1974. The teacher had the record & played it for class. I loved the song at first listen & was surprised to find I had the record, too, but had never bothered to play it. I still have it today.

This isn't "Popular Music", per se, but "Classical Music", played by a "Pop" Band.
This isn't Bach's Work...Beethoven composed it, as a Movement in his 9th Symphony.
