YES! please build it again and then SELL THE EV1, not lease. i dont care if the design may be old, make the same exact one, the one that once roamed my local highways
GM Precept shown in video couldn't be plugged in, but did 0-60 mph 11.5 seconds, governed to 85 mph, and 80 mpg EPA combined on diesel. This efficiency without sacrificing performance due to a 0.16 drag coefficient, 2593 lb weight thanks to composite body, and diesel-electric parallel hybrid drive. Most added cost is from composite body and hybrid drive, but could gut the hybrid drive and eliminate aerospace monopoly on carbon fiber and get an affordable 60+ mpg midsize car with no compromises.
I don't know much about the EV1 hybrids, but Warren Heath has lots of info on them. You can find Warren on evworld and lurking around the Green Car Congress boards. From what I've read, the series hybrid exceeded the Volt's specifications 10 years ago! EV1 series hybrid, 0-60 mph in 9 seconds, 60 mpg highway, 40 mile electric only range. The 4-seat EV1 version wasn't ever built to my knowledge, only proposed. I think that picture of the 4-seat EV1 was computer generated.
Thanks for uploading! Check andrewg85 channel, Free Energy sections. Also Cool! :-)

I'm curious about the 4 seater picture, I hadn't seen that yet. Where would I look for that?

Only you my friend would catch that little slip up. How about some comments about the Series and Parallel Hybrid versions of the EV1?
