I wish Purdue would drop all the MAC games and some SEC games. I think this would help them against the Big Ten, although the win padding would lessen.
I am very humbled and grateful that Joe Tiller has taken us from Point A to Point B, but it just seems like we can't seem to ever get to Point C, which I consider to be the BCS/national title level. Will he ever take us there again like he did in 2000? Maybe, maybe not - but all I know is in order to win a title, you need defense, a consistent running game, and a mix of offensive play calling - none of which we have.
In my honest opinion, Joe Tiller and Brock Spack both need to go. I realize we don't pay off players to come to our school like USC and OSU do, and therefore we can't always get top recruits, but with that said, the defense was ranked 118th last year out of a possible 119 places, and do we have to use the shotgun formation ON EVERY SINGLE PLAY?!
