@kuribayashi84 d00d definitely not true. He's good, but he's not as good as Leonard Nimoy, and light years behind Shatner. But then again, William Shatner's acting is so good it's like a star burning so bright no astronomer can see the other planets around it.
The man is a genius! Shatner says he does not end every word with a period. Well, OK, Bill. not. EVERY. word. Justmostofthem. How many series' has he starred in? Must be doing something right. X
McCoy was my favorite character on the ship, he was a passionite for life, but also a realist and septical of anything beyond his knowledge. may Deforest Kelly Rest In Pease.
In real life people often stumble over words and speak in incoherent ways. I actually like what he says in reaction to McCoy. I don't think Shatner is a bad actor at all. Sure sometimes he was over the top, but overall he was pretty decent.
If nothing else he was very entertaining, I wouldn't change a thing about his acting in TOS, rofl. His speech patterns were odd but unique and made for good times.
@CallumJStewart It's Iambic PentaMETER, because there are 5 (penta) metrical (meter) verses. And he's not speaking in Iambic Pentameter, William Shatner just has a weird way of acting... he likes to keep his viewers hanging on his every word.

@GODLIKE20000 ...said the guy who looks up star Trek clips on YouTube. This was in the recommended for me. I just clicked on it to look at all the nerds who cling on to a failed TV show of the 60's. (What I mean by that is it was failed back then)
@danieldoscher and? i think you might be taking this too seriously, plus i don't care if you think i'm a nerd or not, star trek was an enjoyable tv show and i enjoy both the original series and next gen, i don't understand why you're trying to insult people over it its not a big deal :S
@GODLIKE20000 because TOS is a failed TV show from the 60's and people still cling onto it. it's like slinging onto that 80's show. remember that? they only made like 2 or 3 episodes. someone clinging onto it would be reguarded as an idiot.
@danieldoscher sigh, i won't argue, everyone is entitled to an opinion; however i don't think people are idiots who watch TOS (such as myself), I love the concept behind it and will continue to "cling on to it" :) good day.
@luis6079 Actually I'm not a troll. I'm giving my opinions and I'm closed minded. lol Trolls are there just trying to get people pissed off or whatever.
@danieldoscher Wow, you don't have to be so hateful. Kirk and Spock are the best, as is TOS. And don't even think about saying that it must be because I'm an old person who clings to old stuff, as I'm 17.
@danieldoscher Agreed, but you don't have to call people who have different preferences than you nasty names. You can just agree to disagree. I like TOS, you like TNG, but they're both Star Trek. We belong to the same club. Just because we also belong to different clubs doesn't mean anything.
