i remeber in MH unite, all of the akantor items were so imba in a way. dont believe me? check out the akantor bow for instances, it shot three arrow at onces with dragon elements, and each of those arrows does it's own damage including the dragon elements.btw look at the damage and element damage befor u try to be a smartass with me

1-first kill the akantor(if you are 1 star,2 star or 3 star hunter then never ever try it)

2-carve it(the akantor)

3-keep the items till it appears(if you dont have enough amount of items then kill it(the akantor) again.

4-tandada here you have the final set.

To activeate a skill to an armor you have to have enough of a + in the skill that it activates to a certian level, it depends on the amount of +, gems or whatever they're called help. Also, to get Rathalos plate . . . Good question. Just kill a high enough level rathalos is my best guess. Either way, I need a Rathian plate.

ummm yeah, online is only ad hoc, in other words you can only play when other people are near you with a psp, if you have a ps3 also you can download a thing and play online, but you also have to know japanese or take the time to figure out what to do

The worse thing about this game , Is the "Movement" , Its unbearable , When your fighting , and example : you get knocked down with only a little life left , U can still be constantly hit , even while crafts etc... Makes the game tedious at times, Other than that the game is outstanding... Best online as anyone states though.
