  • beautiful work! I had to study really hard to play this piece, and you seem so natural! I'm really impressioned ! If you want, watch the video in my channel. bye

  • Greetings!

I would like to know what strings do you use?

excellent job by the way :)

  • @neontok1o Thanks for your comment. I can actually remember I used Savarez red/blue Corum (silver packet). I tried different strings after that, but for a year now I have only been using various types of Savarez as I won 16 sets at a competition last spring, and I like most types, they all have warm sound and most importantly they keep tuning very well. Greetings,

    Gergely

  • Dear Gergely I really like your plaing, but I know that before you can play a song, you have to rehurse a lot.

Do you have enogh time for youself, time to play with children?

I hope you are not just pleasing just the whishes of you parents.

If they want you to play the guitar, ask them, if they are also willing to work so hard.

If they are not able to play, then they should ask themselves why?

I have voted with I like it not, because I do not like working children.

  • @MrInom Thank you for worrying about me. Yes, I work hard, I start the day, every day with playing the guitar for about 45 minutes. But in fact I enjoy doing it and would do more but actually my parents never let me sit practising more than an hour, they say it is bad for my back. I have other passions too: I love creating different kind of electric things, lights, train tracks, I go swimming, do folk dance and cycle a lot. My parents also work hard but they find time for me too.

  • great job gettin that 12th - 7th stretch! the little phrase based around 9th G which i think for you starts around 1:36 sounds a little fast, its a really poignant and emotional part which sounds fantastic played slower with heavy vibrato and really breaks the piece into a clearer structure

  • @JackBad69 Thank you for taking your time and care about my improvement I really appreciate that. Yes, you must be right about that, I played that piece nearly two years ago and I liked the tune very much so I just wanted to play how I felt. And I didn't know how to do vibrato. I might decide to remove it and record it again some time later. Thanks again for your comment.

  • Hello, Gergley,

Wonderful work on this piece! Watching you play always puts me in a good mood and motivates me to go practice my guitar. I hope to learn this piece eventually because it is beautiful. Sincerely, Sherie in California.

  • god gergley... i've been watching all of your videos now and i really think you have a gift.

look at you with your little hat sitting there and playing pieces most guitarist can't master properly, even though they're twice as old as you. you'll make a great musician you know? and not only because your technique is amazing. there's so much feeling in what you do. AND i think you must be a little cheese-like, to be so mature! :D

  • @jordanviach Thank you for all that attention, you are really too kind. This piece is so touching, the musician has an easy job to interpret, so it is Leo Brouwer who should be praised for writing such wonderful music.

I love playing music but I am also passionate about electricity, mechanics, all sorts of wires and tubes and I don't think much about my future, just play...

    All the best to you,

    Gergely

  • A real inspiration to hear you play!!

  • Döbbenetes a játék zenei átgondoltsága, és a határozottsága.

Látszik, hogy nemcsak extrém jó zenei memóriád és érzéked van, de a tanárod is remekül végzi a munkáját.

A jobb kéz, bal kéz tartása egyaránt példás, a testtartás tökéletes. A szólamok elkülöníthetőek, a dallamívek okésak.

  • Nagyon nagyon ügyes vagy !és ilyen fiatalon zeneileg érted ezt a darabot csak gratulálni tudok

  • Sounds beautiful, a real pleasure.

  • Thanks for listening to, I am glad you enjoyed it.

  • great work! you play very very well for your age, i think

  • nem hiába magyar:) grat kissrác!

  • i cannot believe that it is the same person who writes the comments and plays.. you sound too mature.. but you play very well!

  • Thanks for listening. My mother always checks my mails before she translates what I think should be answered. I think you cannot be TOO mature - unless you are cheese, of course...

  • future star! no.. you are a star right now! =D

  • I am your fan! Congratulations!

  • Awesome!!,amazing boy.

  • You are very beautiful and talented.

    I Loved.

    Kisses,

    Raíssa (Brasil)

  • Only beautiful people can see the beauty in others :-) I suspect one bit of talent and 9 bits of work plus 110% soul makes an OK musician.

Thanks for the virtual kisses. Virtual hugs,

    Gergely

  • Thank you, I am blushing about this compliment, and actually Julian Bream is one of my heroes, I like the way he gives himself to his music.

  • Cette vidéo me met mal à l'aise. Il y a quelque chose de triste chez cet enfant qui ne me plait pas.

  • I too was speechless, and my wife will tell you that doesn't happen often! Really beautifully played! well done!

  • A true talent indeed. After a few years - maybe this wonder child gives performances on big stages? :)

  • Either you have a rare growth problem and are actually 45 or you are one of the most talented people around (crystal child). :o)

I am shocked that such a credible performance and solid tone eminate from such delicate littel fingers. Just keep at it and enjoy yourself!

  • Thank you very much for your comment. I couldn't make music without the help of my teachers, and any performance I can listen to teaches me, and every comment motivates me to work even harder. So I am grateful for everybody sharing their music and paying attention to others' work.

  • Thanks everybody for encouraging me, it is almost frightening. I know I have to practice a lot to be able to play all the music I want. I have a friend that you can see on my videos, it is my big yellow turtle, called Tequila who eats music, he is very hungry so I have to feed him regularly...

  • Tequila is a good turtle ... ;=))

  • Awesome !!

Keep it up the good work.

    STeph.

  • It is raining outside, and the music is perfect right now. Thank you lena!

  • I thought the same, just now :=))

  • Musical, so musical, ... wonderful, go on, never stop doing this ...

    all the best,

    lena

  • You are a virtuoso. Keep playing the guitar as I am sure you will be the next most famous guitarist in about a few years. That Brouwer's piece is extremely difficult to play with the right emotions etc, and you played in a lot of ways better than myself and better than a lot of people on you tube. Is easy to see the difference between aficionados like us and a truly potential genius and master of the classical guitar. I wish you all the best for your carreer as a musician. Good Luck !!!

  • very very musical !

    this is incredible !

  • Hi Gergely, really beautiful - so much musical feeling, fantastic.

As Thom Bresh says: play, play, play little masetr!

    Cheers

    Hansel

  • Play, little master.. Play.. So Wonderful..

  • Beautiful Gergely, Leo Brouwer is a great composer,I think he's still alive living in Cuba. What a wonderful choice of tune and really played convincingly with good feeling, enjoyed very much,we'll be hearing a lot from you in the future, greets Vic.

  • Thank you. I actually met Leo Brouwer last summer, I played some of his etudes for him at a masterclass. He was very nice and when he dedicated the sheets of this piece I promised him to learn it some time. I really like his music, the less melodic ones are even more exciting, but quite hard to play.

  • Wonderful!! So nice to see a young player put so much feeling and emotion into their playing. Bravo!

  • Bonjour Gergely

Congratulations for your patience and your determination.

Very nice performance young man keep up the good work.5*****

    ClaudeSirois

  • Hi Gergely,

I am rather unable to think of your playing skills in five or more years .... if you continue practicing. A brilliant take on a beautiful tune !

Thank you ( and Nesi ) for sharing.

Cheers from Lemgo/Germany and all the best to you

    Bernd
