Dude, when I saw that exibit with a girlfriend I said that a tiger could jump out. She laughed at me. Zookeeper told me wall was 18 feet, I said no, more like 13. Well guess what, it is 12.5-12.8 from the offical reports I have read. I knew this could happen... Stop trying to blame the punk ass kids. Nobody deserved to die. Neither did the tiger. Negligence on the Zoo's part.
Sunday Aug 10 on the Nat'l Geo Channel will air "Zoo Tiger Escape" a documentary produced by Winton Dupont Films out of their SF studio. Some of my footage seen here will be in this film!
Release the animals back to the wild where they belong. Look at how they are treated in cramped, confined areas. This is cruel and undeserving. We as humans have no respect for nature the way it is meant to be. Don't go to circuses and maybe we won't keep trying to make the animals entertain us.
Funny that those kids are Indian. The worst zoos I have seen in my life were in India. People were literally throwing rocks, and shouting names at the animals. The worst thing I saw was a gang of teenagers yanking out chunks of fur from a speckled bear that was lying next to its bars, too depressed to move.
It's sad that people died...but this seems just like that beef jerky commercial "Messin with Sasquatch." Bunch of douche bags drunk and messin with a tiger...All I can say is..."Payback is a bitch!!!"
Lions held captive inside a small area compared to the wilderness is very small. Those, obvious, animal abusing teenagers maybe did taunt the tiger, why else would it defend itself by attacking back.
Those kids provoked the attack by throwing shit at the Tiger, crossing over the fence, and pissing in the Tigers domain. Why do you think it only attacked them and not the other people still in the zoo? Tiger was out for like an hour. It's a pretty long distance from the Tiger area to the Cafe. Why they stay quite? ...they haven't said a word about the attack. If they get any money it should be a refund from the zoo and enough to pay medical bills.

And as for those two scumbags not cooperating with officers, they should have just let them lay in the dirt, bleeding, until they answered the questions. No cooperation should equal no medical treatment.
Stupid Basterds Leaning Over The Railing Teasing The Tiger, Well They Got What They Deserved To Bad The Tiger Had to Die Even Though It Wasnt His Fault.
The story is simple, the tiger was not fed and was very very hungry it was xmas and cold. The tiger smelled what it perceived as mexican food, a burrito a taco and a enchilada. Hence the tiger mauled over his options, no pun intended. Thus this very very clever tiger had it his way even tho it was not burger king!!!!!
These animals should be FREE in the WILD only reason they are in a zoo their personal JAIL is because alot of people make big bucks off them. If u really love animals don't go to a zoo where these animals are kept in jail and in some cases abused by people who see them or people who work there going to zoos only supports that.
cont.. A shoe print has been found on the railing at the exhibit and is being checked against all three. I think these 2 chuckelheads were taunting the anamals ( MY opinion ) Pete D

As of this morning Dec 28 07 the 2 guys hurt buy this tiger (still in the hospital) Its comming out that thet both have police records for drunkenness and fighting. And were belligerent to the police even as they were being taken to the hospital
Ok here is the footaqge I shot used by KPIX TV the CBS affilliate in San Francisco. This aired during the 6pm broadcast Dec 26 I think they made good use of my stuff. Pete D
