What is with you and the engines?

I made 2 videos. One of the videos Was in Alice and the other was not. If you look carefully at both videos you will see my engine. I took the engine parts and put them in Alice and programmed the parts to move.

I have the Alice World so you can have a copy of it. You can see the graphics I put in there. You can change the programming and experiment with the graphics.

I use png graphics along with Alice objects.

If you had a copy of my world you would have a better understanding of png files.

If anyone else wants copies let me know.

Anyone know of a better free alternative to CamStudio? Camstudio does not allow keyboard control while the video is recording as far as I can tell.

Do you mean keyboard shortcuts? If you have a look under "options", there is "keyboard shortcuts", which you can customize. But I'm not sure if that's what you meant. Anyways, hope that is helpful.

Hmmm... yes, I think that is what you meant :-) I have used those controls for other videos, so I can say they do work very nicely.

Back after long out....

Yes you're right. I found out the problem I was having with CamStudio was only because the Alice window was not the active window. Camstudio works great for low to medium resolution.
