@badazzpresidents23 It was Xenakis, and who else would measure and find out mathematically all the various notes which possibly could be played on a wooden fingerboard of an instrument before composing?
@barun432 Honestly I need to learn more about what Xenakis did. I understand his works and ideas at a very anecdotal level. That being said, just audibly he's one of my favorite composers.
@beatleswhitealbum Zappa composed on the synclavier in several albums. He started with
Boulez Conducts Zappa- The Perfect Stranger
Francesco Zappa
Thing Fish
Them or Us
Jazz from Hell
But the particular pieces you hear here ended up in the album Civilization Phaze III, which is a culmination of Zappa's synclavier music and a very unique Zappa album from the 60s Lumpy Gravy.
thanks for uploading this. Really. i'm in awe. but am still glad he had to make rock music because otherwise i (and a lot of other people) probably would never have been exposed to this.
@flypogger This is the world we live in where a guy has to switch and experiment between genres to hear his real music ..There was another guy just like him who took the alternative route and composed on player piano's for more than 60 years, on music which was not perform-able by humans and Frank was inspired by him and his name was Conlon Nancarrow.
Thank you so much for sharing, lol at 25:54

@barun432 Very few other composers. Harry Partch is one other I can think of.

@badazzpresidents23 Partch was unique in his own way, but your right, there are very few composers like that.

Awesome upload.
@30:28 Man, can you imagine if Zappa had overseen/produced the complete works of Webern? Damn. I'd like to hear that for sure.
