I love this scene the song.....Steve and Kayla were ultimate supercouple. I was a teenager when I used to watch this. Beautiful couple.

I could watch this over and over. One of my favorite Steve and Kayla scenes with flashbacks of rooftop, drunk Kayla, the cookbook to Steve, Steve climbing through a window with a knife in his mouth, and who can resist a crying Steve with his sweetness?

Why did Kayla ever marry Jack? I know they thought he was dying but it is so clear they were never meant to be together

Basically, Jack said that he would have the will to live if he knew he and Kayla were going to be together. As it turns out, marrying her did give him the will to get better. Oh yeah, they NEVER had a scene together where you knew she wasn't missing Steve.
