For anyone to dismiss or not fully appreciate the talents of Buddy Holly & Crickets because they supposedly played "simple" songs is tantamont to saying that all Tiger Woods does is hit a little white ball around. Buddy was the REAL DEAL. Almost all copy-cats pale in comparison. Nice try, but sorry -- it's not working for me.

Wow! My all time favourite Buddy Holly song is MAYBE BABY, but the overdubbed 1966 Demo version. But your version of the 1957 original version is nearly better than the Crickets version... :-))
