Lift up the screen to the left... and to the right of the metal bolt is a hole with an arrow pointing to it. stick a needle or hairclip or something like that into the hole and it will restart it. I use mechanical pencils...

to erase and restart, u push power and push the restart.

Because this phone has two main plan features.. the data plan and the voice plan. Most people get both plans together. But many people, like Deaf people love the data plan as it is purely text like aim, emails, internet and they don't need a voice plan, or people who just don't want a voice plan. Or you can just get a voice plan. Or both So it works both a phone OR a pager... So he isn't dumb.
