I am German, and Billy has said some really crass things about Germans - I still laughed. Comedy's purpose is to make you laugh - and for me, that's a task Billy unfalteringly no matter the topic succeeds in every time, whereas Mr Lee just comes across preachy. I do not like being preached to by comedians.

You make a good point, "political correctness" can mean those things too, but I still think the positives of political correctness (such a vague, dumbass term) outway the negatives. The language issues that you point to are at worst, slightly irritating.

But the less ignorant and more respectfull way that minorities are referred to now, in comparison to 50 years ago, is of far greater importance than the language issues you raise.
