I've always wanted to see snow actually fall from the sky. I've been made fun of for saying that but come on, where I'm from it never snows. I've always wanted to wake up on that snowing Christmas.. Sure we've been down to play in the snow, but I've never actually seen it fall from the clouds.

Reminds me of the Yoko Ono song, "Listen, the Snow is Falling". It is a beautiful song and if you don't care for Yoko there is a more commercial version by Thea Gilmore, here on Youtube. Snow brings back feelings of childhood....read "Snowbound" by John Greenleaf Whittier...I cannot get enough of winter and snow and music and literature inspired by the same. Thanks for the video!

love the snow video. hope you get couple storms this season. I want to see all your snow vids. just remember you can capture snow when there is darker background. at night you would need to do the reverse by concentrating on areas of light. I am sure you know all of this as i can tell a fellow snow lover.

@woodamarc Yep we have snow here buts it's all watery and hurts when you fall in it . It's not soft. And if you go to the parts where people skii and that they have snow machines haha. I live on the coast so there is no snow where I live thank goodness. Where I used to live we sometimes saw snow but it would hardly ever set.

Although there was some snow still on the ground on Christmas day, no new snow fell, but there was rain later in the evening. Unluckily, I haven't been able to actually see snow falling yet. There's just been a lot of wind and rain (which has brought me yet another head-cold). Typical Northern Irish weather. Lol. Still, another two months of winter to go. Maybe we'll have some heavier snow falling yet. But whether it comes or not, I'm not leaving the house. Too cold for me. Lol. =o]

This is my favourite thing about winter. Watching the snow fall. I could sit by my bedroom window and watch it fall, for ages. It fascinates and relaxes me, for some reason. It'd be great if it snowed like this where I live both day and night. We don't get much snow at all. Hopefully though, we might have a white Christmas this year, seeing as it snowed a bit last night. =o]

Looks like we're in for another storm in the great NW. I'm going to set up my camera again. I'm hoping to get a different angle. I'll just let the footage roll. I may even change locations.
