now i remember that day...i gave up thier tickets and bought overpriced COLDPLAY tickets...there were playing at the same time in downtown houston...too this day i keep wondering what did i miss.....:(
Incredible footage. This is the way the band needs to be shot to experience the full effect. the way i would want to film this band. Hard to believe i had front row balc at benaroya hall dead center and had to pass because i could not afford the trip to seattle. screwed up everything. i will make up for it in the future and film this band like they were meant to be filmed.. find a audio source for this peformance and put this on to dvd and share with the fans. thank you!
it finally eneded with a single guitar note that was stretched long after the band left the stage, fading out slowly with the word 'Takk...' projected onto the screen (thank you!) the music stopped finally, 5 seconds of relief then everyone screamed and clapped. brilliant.
the first half was the usual atmospheric loveliness lasting about 10 minutes, then the curtains came down, lights flashed behind the band to create silhouettes on the curtain and images were projected onto it. the drums pounded and the reverb echoed beautifully, it just got louder and louder and louder as it went on, the drums deeper, the visuals more intense and quick and the audience just stood there with their mouths agasp wondering when the fury will end, not that we wanted it to.
please, for the love of God, come back to Texas

this was much shorter than the show I saw in London. okay it's only the second half but the Pop Song must've been at least a 20 minute version:
when I saw them live they turned a 12 minute epic song into 20 minutes as their final encore.
