are you from kuwait?? and are you just now thinking of responding to an iraqi attack over a decade afterwards??
this debate is about the current US-Iraq war. not about the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait last decade... and the reality is that iraq has never attacked the US or Britain.
Its sad how everyone on the "we're winning" side completely ignore the suffering and horrible violent deaths of so many iraqi citizens, time and time again
like rifkind said, when you think about "winning a war", you have to take into account the benefits you got out of the war, and the costs of the war...
these people who are for the motion of "winning the iraqi war" don't take into account the costs of iraqi lives... they don't look at it as a burden to them... iraqi deaths don't mean much to them, so hundreds of thousands of deaths is not looked at as negative.. it's a non-factor for them in the debate..
"When you go into a country that hasn't attacked you.."
Did this guy just forget the cause of this whole conflict? The invasion and annexation of Kuwait.

Ayn Rand - dismissed years ago as the discredited product of a totalitarian upbringing. Not entirely apparently.
Jose Vasquez IVAW - Excellent question
Keane - Personal compassion, fine. But still a policy disaster.
