In the winter when it's cold like this, the kids actually argue over who gets to take which dog to bed! They are the biggest snuggle bugs in the world. We have four children (ages 5, 7, 11 and 14), and 3 Staffordshire Bull Terriers (two brothers and a female we adopted from a rescue shelter). I grew up with medium size dogs (mostly mutts), and previous to becoming Staffy parents, we had a very loyal golden retriever. This over-protective mom highly recommends them!
When my husband first got our staffies, I was scared to death of them because I had only heard negative things about the breed. Then I educated myself on them, their history, and first hand experience showed me that these are hands down the very best dogs to have with children. They are smart, loyal, well-tempered pack animals that recognize the children as the youngest members of the pack and in need of their patience and protection.
shame on you if that dog try to bite your child then that´s your own fold i dont understand people like you but the time will teach that you have to respect your dog en protect them before something verry bad happen

Ummmm.... what's the big deal about this video? All I see here is a baby playing with the family dog. I didn't see any violence from the dog toward the baby??? More like a whole bunch of licking and then when the baby stopped touching it, the dog nuzzled with its head for some more touching. Why do people get so uptight? Maybe have a look at the real problems going on in the world rather than making a big deal out of a baby and a family pet playing.

Didn't hear about routine extermination of those dogs in Israel. Sterilization is highly recommended.
I know quite a few people with PBT & AMSt in my block. Not a single problem for over 2.5 years.
People with small kids, with big kids, without kids etc. have those "lickers"...
