Thanks for some lovely tutorials like this one! I use my wawe iron to do some curls, and i agree, messy is better. Most people want like a doll-ish look on their curls, and it gets kinda booring after a while.

ur curling the wrong way. Ur not following the direction the hair is directed but turning the iron the opposite way. Get what im saying? Like if clamp the iron and the hair and the hair is curving towards ur face, u turn the iron the opposite way to try n get outward curls n u end up with the crimp.

but why dont you try setting the heat tempature lower, or if your curling iron only has one tempature setting, then try to not hold the iron in your hair for too long

and if all that doesn't work. then curl all your hair. loosen it up with your fingers and dont spray until the end.
