  • Has anyone hired you yet?? I find it SERIOUSLY hard to believe that they not only would discriminate against you for being transsexual (especially since you are TOTALLY passable as a woman), but that they would not want someone VERY ATTRACTIVE in that job. Move to the U.S. and apply at Southwest. It's based here in Texas...so you could live with me!!

  • You are so darned beautiful that I cannot understand why an airline wouldn't hire you. Keep trying to apply and I am sure you will succeed. Yes, I said you're beautiful AND I am a straight TS post-op woman. I am just telling the truth. Keep trying and you'll make it. I've been with the U.S. Federal Government civil services for 38 years. You can make it!

  • follow your dream. if they hire both genders, why wouldn't they hire you?

  • Lost my tranny thought. ;)

  • Girl you look like Flight Attendant, anyways i hope by now you got in.

  • You are so hott and amazing! wish i coul date you!! ahhhh :)

  • Lookin good girl!

  • you look freaking amazing and i would bone you or you could bone me if you'd like too

  • You should apply for AirTrans. Just joking. You have the look and intelligence, work on being confident and present yourself as to what an asset you would be for the airlines. Wish you the best.

  • You could be a supermodel with those facial features.

  • Hi Alexandra! I know a F/A in YUL that transition (before or after Idon't know) but go for your dream and be confident during interview you can do it!

  • Hi! I too am a F/A for a US carrier and I know of two cases of people transitioning while working as inflight and flight crews. The only difference is that they got hired as the sex they were born with and then transitioned after being with the company.

  • girl you can be what ever you want...dont let anyone tell you NO you cant.... :)

  • both of us are post op. I have been with the cie 14 years now. I was male for about 10 years and then got into therapy and started my transition process, wich took me a bit less than 2 years total. I am now married and happy with a very nice and sweet man ;o))

  • I am a flight attendant in Canada (MTF) and, in my cie, we are 2 transsexuals flight attendants (another is FTM)....so why not ? You just don't say it at interview, that would be stupid....just get the job, pass probation, and then announce you transitionning when you are ready and far enough into it...

  • @Audreylavraie Ah ok cool thank you for that and are you pre op or post op and how long you been a flight attendant ? Everyone says to me say hi to everyone and be sociable because they are reviewing you when you walk in the building

  • @Audreylavraie "don't say it at the interview" I hope you all don't do that with men too.

  • @ubermisogynist : We are talking about employers, remember ?!!....My husband is well aware of my condition from day one, and for your knowledge, he couldn't care less....we got married and are happely together for the last 4 years...."misogynist" is your nickname, what a surprise...pfff...

  • @Audreylavraie i've seen transgenders on youtube say they don't tell unsuspecting men who they are until the 3rd date(are they not merciful) so they can get to know them before they drop the bombshell. I would want to know before ANY date. I think it's wrong to drag someone along like that. If a guy is into that it will be before the first date. It's like a woman trying to convert a gay man. No amount of getting to know will convert someone one.

  • Good luck Alex! Keep following your dream! Can't wait to see you on my flight one day! :-)

  • sure darling goo for that dream job :0 ive you don,t get in trouble with paper works your id ..then you are very fit for a flight atendents you got the looks thats damm sure be your self and goo goo ..love the vid too with the out fit look on this topic okeebyby hugies love alana:D

  • just b urself & have confidence in ur abilities & u'll do get it. i mean i'm sure pre-op trans girls can b flight attendants but then again i live in the US & don't fly 2 much so i don't kno about laws & things in Austrailia. oh & is it just me or did the color change like 4 times in this vid or was i just high on acid watching that???

  • Dont see why not! I dont think sexuality comes into it.

  • I don't see why you couldn't get a job as a flight attendant. You are already nicely under way with your transition after all.

The usual rules to getting a job apply: you have to be smarter, better looking, better trained etc. etc. or at least fake that convincingly. Just as with any job you would go after.

Go chase your dream, you're worth it.

  • YUP you can be,.. good friend of mine transition in her early 50s after working for the airlines as a gay man form her 20s.. so YEA!! u can

  • Hi Alexandra, from one Aussie girl to another my advice is to go hard for what your dream is. Dont worry about others just go for the big prize you wont be sorry.

  • Keep reaching for your dream, don't stop, you can do it. You can make this happen if you keep at it. :-)

  • Well for sure I knew a few with Continental Airlines in the US. There's soooo many gay men as flight attendants, I can't imagine major airlines saying no, with the exception of Singapore Airlines, because they're still the strictest about looks, personal conduct, habits, dress, etc. And I may also add the few I knew didn't look anywhere near as hot as you.

  • @jessica362436 wow thats great to hear thank you and thank you for the compliment hehehe

  • @ThePublicToiletShow thank you very much for that

  • @ThePublicToiletShow Do people actually discriminate against transgender people in hiring? What's the problem?

  • Have confidence in yourself. Expect to get the job so they feel bad to disappoint you.

  • @wendy11372a ok i will

  • You would make a terrific flight attendant. How tall are you and do you speak any other languages. Don't give up on your dream.

  • @boboc50 awww thank you very much and im 5,10 and i only speak basic filipino just greetings lol and i wont give up never

  • I know of a few transwomen who are flight attendants so it is possible.

  • @TheGenderChannel awww thank you for that i feel like i have hope and a chance thank you

  • @albertjaime and plus no one would kno im trans anyways lol

  • the airlines are pretty anti-trans in regards to the people who work there with their attitude. but the companies themselves assist those transitioning and allow transes in some positions. i read about one who was a pilot actually. however, i don't believe they allow transes to be flight attendants unfortunately

  • @devaloki ok but when i wrote in my application bout my story how i got to the stage im at they accpted it and i got a chance to be in the interview and that was pacific blue and air nz

  • @salaya232 congrats then hopefully it works

  • @albertjaime yep thats what im going to do and im gona be out there not quiet lol

  • I can see why not ? As long you can do the job. you're get the jobg

  • @AwsomeCuban yep they shouldn't discriminante im just a person who wants to work and thanks

  • @salaya232 they shouldn't really, you're willing to work. nothing wrong with that. plus you are very welcome

  • I don't see why not
