  • I love this show too much...

  • This is a great series, too bad it didn't do more seasons. I think its great, both women are great actresses and play off each other nicely. Keep putting on great shows...Jlinck!

  • what is the episode where a woman dies in the hotel? the one when Laura says "It said 'Murder' on the mirror"

  • Just watched the episode, 'Gongoozler' where Pam Ferris is Joined by Jan Francis when Felicity Kendall's character breaks a leg. I have seen all the episodes and really enjoyed the series, but to see both Felicity Kendall (The Good Life) and Jan Francis (Just Good Friends) together was excellent. It would be good if they made another series too!

  • @Mr6292 me and my mum watched that, its the first time ive seen it! I thought it was VERY good! :)

  • @MrBJC1996 You have started watching the series re-run a few episodes in, but it's ok, as each programme is a complete story anyway. The good news is you can buy the complete DVD boxset on Amazon, with the bad news being it costs £46.47........ Either way, TV re-runs or TV via DVD, you and your Mum will have plenty more to enjoy. All the best!

  • My mom loves this show but she got mad at me when I told her it was a garden of perpetual death.

  • I will always love this show.,... no matter what :)

  • I watched this summer nights when I was like 12 years old.

No one else in my family really liked it, but I did. I found it just so relaxing

  • I loved this show when i was like eleven ! Its amazing :)

The show should come back onto tele.

  • Believe it or not, i'm 14 and LOVE this! =) x

  • I loved this show when I was only about eleven year old! It's certainly stuck with me..

  • Great series... I've always loved Felicity Kendal. Her series "Solo", back in the 70's, was also great. There used to be an episode on here. I wish someone would put it back.

  • I remember when these came on, I used to watch them before going to school... Later I would watch Ms Marple.

Odd thing though, I was in middle school even back then, plus I am a male.

And now as a young adult, I can't get enough of detective stuff.

  • just another great brtish detective serie ...awsome.

  • Gotta love ''Rosemary And Thyme'' along with ''Hetty Wainthropp Investigates'' and ''Midsomer Murders''.

Felicity Kendal is even prettier now in her late 50's, early 60's than back when she was young.

It's a shame they didn't make more series of it.

  • I adore this show.

    I watched it this morning.

  • This show recalls with the magic music of scarborough fair the beauty and the semplicity of the english countryside..unique in the world

  • I love this show! The two leads are great, and the flowers, gardens and countryside are gorgeous. Nothing better than watching this in the middle of a cold, snowy Canadian winter.

  • I really love this show too....exspecially the music

I watch it in italian television where there is the dubbed version....called "Giardini e misteri " (Gardens and misteries) but I prefer the original title....the names of the two detectives

  • Me mum used to love this show when it was on. (back in her gardening days anyway) I still want to see it again though. Great show!

  • Scarborough Fair is a balled that has its origins way back in the 1600s. The one we are familiar with is about the mid-1700s.

  • wouldnt the police be slightly suspicious that these 'gardeners' keep finding dead bodies?

  • this is my favourtie show

    can u please add more

    rosemary and thyme

    thanks

  • How do they just randomly get involved in these police cases!! Wouldn't the police tell them to go away?

  • I love this show and the funny thing is i'm a teenager =]

  • haha me too, personally i think it is bthe best thing on tv but everyone else seems to disagree...oh well, at least we have the old peoples vote..!

  • You kidding? Me mum and I loved to watch it and I am going to watch the first series again!

  • @annaschuster i dont that thats so special that your a teenager. R&T is a show for everyone. I hate how people say ''well im 15 and i like this'' which they think it like validates everything.

  • @hep2jive It is quite clearly not a show for everyone, it's target demographic is blatantly women and the elderly. People say comments such as the one you hate because they are pointing out that they like it, even though the producers of the show weren't intending to capture audiences of that age/taste. If you asked all teenagers what they thought of this show, I would say that 99% would say they hate it. (I like it by the way!!)

  • @Manors22 Wallace had a Liquid Poop.

  • @annaschuster

    Right on! Me too!

  • It's Simon & Garfunkel's Scarborough Fair.

  • Scarborough Fair is not Simon & Garfunkel's song nor is this particular theme their rendition. It's arranged by John Williams, I believe, and as far as I can tell done so specially for this series.

  • It's the 'Rosemary And Thyme' Caprice For Guitar And Orchestra by Christopher Gunning.

  • :O!!!! i saw felicity kendal! :) i went to watch "The Vortex" in London and she was the main star in it :) shes excellent :)

  • Currently replaying episodes on ITV3 (2008)

  • The theme song is just beautiful.

  • Its Pam Ferris- She was the evil headmistress in the film Matilda (1996)

  • i love this show
