First, Lebron's been shooting above 77% from the FT line for past 4-5 years. Thats not the best FT% you'll see but thats well above the league average. Second Lebron's career average from 11ft-18ft is 45% which means he DOES have solid midrange game. LBJ is a better 3point shooter and he does have a okay post up gam

But he's not overrated. he's still the best player the nba has ever seen. his playing styleand skills on the court were unprecedented. and to dominate the 90's the way he did, incredible. 6 rings in 8 years, and arguably if he hadn't retire for the season and a half, he could've probably won all 8 rings in that 8 years.

the ring arguement can only be taken so far. Is Bill Russel better than Jordan because he has more rings? This is commonly used to show why Kobe is better than Lebron or why Jordan is. If you look at sheer statistics, they're arguably similar but Jordan is probably a little better.

You can't determine the goat by sheer statistics, if you did: Wilt's 71 records speak for themselves, 62 of which he holds by himself. Most of Jordan's records can be broken (except his 6 Finals MVPs) but Wilt's probably never breaking most of them. I'm a Jordan fan but I recognize a domination of a sport like Wilt's when I see it too.

In the '96 play-offs Pippen averaged more assists than Jordan, more blocks than Jordan, more rebounds than Jordan, more 3s than Jordan and more steals than Jordan. He did the same in '98. So how in your mind does outdoing Jordan in virtually every statistical category=Pippen's numbers being "pitiful"? Because you're zeroing in on bad games, that's how.

It's EASIER to be successful when U inherit a team that just won the damn title the previous year like he did in '94, vs having to groom, shape & mold a lottery team into an eventual contender over several seasons like MJ did from 1984-91!
