well, there are several reasons, but the main reason would be that installation of Oracle requires several OS configs. In Linux you can tune anything because it is open, it is posix-based which makes it even more reliable being the fact that UNIX and VMS is where the Oracle engine really grew up in.
Oracle's first tier of support is Linux. and Oracle has a RedHat based derivative of Linux on which it predicates most of it's OS related aspects.
Thanks for the video but Oracle on Linux is perfect. Oracle on Windows not so good.
