  • how can we know that we are singing by our diaphragm ? Is that whole our body will resonace ?

  • thats one charismatic and sexy lady

  • fun

  • Of course working out and being healthy helps the voice tremendously but deep inhalation, anyone, either, fit or not can do! And that's the biggest problem singers have nowadays! They don't breathe deep enough to support the voice!!

  • @Marvinglz Absolutely! breathing from the core is so important.

  • great work really great; fabolous!

  • ma me mi mo muuuuuuu ^^

  • My mom came in and said "omg are you singing?" =D

  • @CandyBoyGavin Hey you're off to a good start..

  • that also hepled me take pressure off my throat

  • Most of them sweet because their dancing/attire/hot air/heavy breathing(aka performing).

  • Thank you so much. That was really fun(:

  • @TH3P3RPCHICKZ It's my pleasure.. I have made a new one.. This one is old. Just need to upload it

  • @taneshawalker If I sent you a sample of my singing would be about to tell me what I am doing wrong?

  • For your exercises (btw i love them) when i hold out my notes how do i stay on one note only. for example if i am to hold out and F note for more than 10 seconds sometimes i can hear my self getting lower. how do i control this??? Please and thank you, God bless!!! <3

  • I'd chill with you any day :)

  • Your very helpful, I don't know why people keep commenting negativity. Your video has helped me a great deal.

  • Sorry Ms just admit you're really a yoga instructor and not a vocal coach. Janis Joplin was most likely in pretty rough shape and could sing circles around your tight azz!

  • @nat00ben06 Janis Jopin is dead, enough said...maybe if she wasn't so drunk and high all the time she could really showed what she could do.

  • there sweating bc their hot...

  • Im 15 and I'd like to join on a singing contest. Before I enrolled on a music school, and my mentor told me that my voice fits on acoustic and pop rock songs only. My problem is Most of the winners in the contest are singing Ballad songs/ high noted songs.. How can I sing those songs? Thank You and God Bless! =)

Xoxo,Louisa

  • Hello Tanesh. I am 61 and I am thoroughly enjoying this clip. Yes, I totally agree with you that one's singing voice is the one that you speak with. I like the beat, your voice and the way you move quietly, but rhythmically to the beat. Kind regards!

  • I totally love this exercise!! btw this girl looks like Melanie B from the spice girls!!

  • @purple73mb Bless your Heart. The best advice I can tell is sing in the choir in Church. Start there.. You're still very young. Learn to love what God give you, the sound of your voice and all that comes with it.

  • @purple73mb bbe u shuldnt say that bou u self yh i am not the best singer in the world but i kw im not the worst self confidence is what helps u get better at singin

    Thank you.

  • @CRaziieinmusic Well, at least once a week... Daily if you are work on something special. Like if you sing in the choir or group.

  • @taneshawalker Ok thank you for giving me an answer :)

  • You have a charming voice! the rhythm of your exercises makes the warm up much more fun....

  • Im 14 and just started to sing . Im really not sure on my voice...i filmed my self singing but my friends say that doesnt sounds like my real voice..how am i gonna hear my REAL voice? i just wanna know that. Can you tell me ,thanks

  • @ThePenguinSkipper Your real voice is the one that you speak with. You should also sing in your natural voice. It's not that hard to do. Just record your voice on a recorder. and try not to be so concerned about what people say. Just find your way to learn your voice. Good Luck.

  • @taneshawalker Thank you for the tip ! There are no singer teachers in my town so im really happy for your advice!

  • if i dont learn anything i really enjoyed that thankyou

  • i really love this exercise !!!

  • One of the best exercises EVER!!

  • I like it.

  • wow. this helped me alot! thank you! ^^

  • @Aderpay It's my pleasure to help..

  • Can you please give me tips or exercises on how to control the larynx, because when I start singing, specially when I am trying to hit the high notes my larynx are rising and I know its not a good thing to do when are singing. Ive been searching all this time to find out the answer to my problem but unfortunately I've found none. So if you can kindly help me! Thank You

  • @Kartoonz025 Well it sounds to me that you are unable open your larynx and placing it down enough. I recommend you doing tongue exercises using the ng sound. say sing, then ng. Emphasize on ng. Do this with your mouth.. Do it until you feel a workout. Tongue is placed firmly against your lower teeth. Work on feeling the opening in the back of your throat. Then incorporate into vowels. Like first do ng, then OO, & so on.. Don't move the Mouth (very important). Hope that help you..

  • very damn good lesson

  • wow this is cool..(:

  • @klimovich114 Hey Thanks!! If you want more free singing exercises, all you have to do is signup. Just click through the link to get started. Take Care!!

  • omg i have a problem when im singing my voice is very... = =

i need to know how to sing with the 'belly' :)

  • @2PMisTimeless I went on your youtube channel, whos the guy that sings a sing-like-Yell in the end. Is that you? Because that using diaphragm with stomach muscles engaged. It's not as difficult as people make it out to be. If you want to master it... I have a exercise for you. - Take Care lady

  • @taneshawalker haha no ^^' its a singer: kpopsinger ^^'

    uhm...ah i see!!

O.O wow yeaaah thank u really.:)

  • great video. My problem is when i sing higher notes i cant pronounce words correctley usually starting with b,t,p,c etc. And i have a deep voice is there any excersises i can do to be able to expand the range of my pitch?

  • thats not truE.

you dont have to be in shape to have a good voice.

  • Yes you are right, you don't have to be in shape to have a good voice.. However, that's not what I'm saying. When you are in shape your ability to sing longer and stronger becomes better in every way. And If you are have problems developing your voice, especially head voice, being in shape will enable your voice to work more for you. but if YOU don't have to be in shape, and you have a Great voice. Singing 1 hour to 2 hours sets without giving tire. Then I want to know your SECRET...

  • thank u have u got more and can u teach me place

  • you can be fat and still be fit though

  • fatboy slim.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not being mean but I see people who don't exercise and are huge but still can sing a long time without losing thier breath so I don't believe you have to be in shape to sing.

  • Euhm i rlly don't know how you need to breath in via nose or mouth help cuz i run outa breath fast and yes i do sport and a heavy on Thaiboks so wld apreciate the help thanks :D

  • Builds Diaphragm Control. Helps with holding notes better and helps with projecting the voice. If you have these problems, this exercise will help you a lot. Ok Take Care

    Enjoy

    Peace LadyT

  • Hey ...

My singing teacher from a few years ago!!!

    Hey Tanesha!!!

  • Then how do heavier people sing so well lol, just wondering

  • They have more lung volume. So sending out the air is a bit easier for them. A smaller person must work harder for sending out more lung volume. However, If the smaller person is in better shape, they can as well send out a lot of air volume. So yes Heavier people can sing out louder. Which seems that it's easier for them. Hope that helps

    Peace LadyT

  • thanks i will try it!!!!

  • Enjoy, And problems that you come across, just let me know. Happy to help!

    Peace

    ladyt

  • I have difficulties with those tremolos and the end...does anyone know how I can improve that?

  • That Was Fun ;)

  • HOLY CRAP THIS DOES WORK!!! thx

  • Do you know what it's suppose do? I'm lost lolz

  • WOW this WORKS!

  • hehe it was fun do this exercise ;P thanks

  • Hi there all! Tanesha here, And yes.... Big People have the ability to sing louder because they have access to more lung capacity. Their lungs are bigger and the chest area have more volume for vibration of sound. We are Human Instruments. Now, their is Endurance is another story all together. During a set, their voice will give out. And in the end the "Last Man Standing" will be the one who's in Shape!! Period.. Peace & Blessings Tanesha

  • @taneshawalker

  • i know you didnt ask me but that happened to me too after alot of vocal exercises w/ my choir teacher it gradually got better

  • I ll have a lesson with her anyway, for her professionnal skills obviously

  • utubevanillaboy = you are so right about when your in a bad mood or so and you sing , your voice definately reflects it, i found that while in singing class last week i tried to sing while i was upset about my mom being in hospital and i found that i couldn't sing a song even thought i had been practising it all over the weekend before and i sang it perfectly when practising but i was real upset and i sang almost horribly you could say.

  • bardzo dobre cwiczenie ^^ :)) good !! :))

  • thanks for the tip.,.. am also a voice coach here in the philippines

  • that helped me SO much.... wait nvm i already knew that

  • Hello Mayatmaya,

Yes, teaching younger children is not as easy.

First, make the exercises short not to long. Start only in major note scales. Use fun music that they would like. Lot's of running, jumping around in a circle. Making sound like different animals relating to notes.Just get creative with it. In the end tie everything together by teaching them a song. Let them sing in groups, and just in case someone is bold enough let them sing by themself.Hope that helps a little.

  • Hey, I have a really low normal voice. Which is abit of a problem cause when im singing my family i was says im singing extremely low i try to sing high and i either go into falsetto or it feels like my neck is gonna explode i just wanna beable to sing at a proper level withotu singing low.

  • Hi, I have the same type of voice. I find that if I push out through my nose area a bit (sort of like pulling my voice to the top of my face or my head) I can get a decently strong high note out. I'm not professional or anything but I hope that helps!

  • She is so friendly!!!!

  • Eres una diosa, sabes como ensenar. Te felicito!

  • wowigotlightheaded

  • Thats perfect! It is exactly what is supposed to happen

  • u sure? lol

  • yep, it means you are getting enough air to your diaphram

  • awesome. i guess i just have to make sure i don't pass out! haha

  • lmao, same.

  • I definitely agree with you when you say that being physically fit is an important factor with singing.

I find that after I've exercised (and when I keep myself fit and active), I actually sing a lot better than when I don't.

  • When you sing its about you. If your in a bad mood or just has been laying down all day, your voice reflects it
