the story is incredible, any version you play should be fine, this ss is from the pc port... but the music is from the sms version, IIANM
now I listened to it for several times and the first minute of it is awesome. I don't know if it is that sad and I didn't play this "Ys"-Game, but I think it IS very emotional.
i think you would have to play the games to get the full feeling of the songs in this top ten but without playing the game some of the songs arnt that sad like this one i have played the game so i know where your coming from (then again why would you be listing to these if you havent played the game)lol argue wits myself again
@TheRadical I have to second that, awesome score and amazing game overall. Its a severely underrated game that sadly never got too much attention in the US until recently.
@goldman77700 I realize that, I believe one common belief is the many different religions and beliefs that are influenced throughout the game. I honestly don't see why that would be a negative thing (especially today.) I think people fail to see its simply a game, if anything you can open your mind to the outside world thanks to the game.
Yeah good choice. One of my favorites from the Ys series. And I agree that this is a sad song. A shame the series never seemed to explore the whole Adol/Feena thing very much. By the third game it was like: Feena who?

You should post the TurboGrafx16 version. I even downloaded a patch that installs those versions over the ones for the Windows release.
