Both Voltrons Blazing Swords

I dont know why everyone says lion voltron is better than vehicle voltron. Lions are biological flesh covered creatures, that just doesent fit when they become robots. Vehicle Voltron I can understand as it is already mechanical.

I know what some of you guys mean about the sword clangs from both Voltrons. For me, the vehicle Voltron's sword formation gave me a thrill because of the way it was done: The laser blades were spinning on his shoulders, made a loud sound as he grabbed them, drew them back as they glowed brightly, made a swish and exploding sound as he slammed them together, and as the sword finished forming.....it glowed even brighter and made a metal reverb sound. Robeast was going bye-bye!

@ESFAndy011 It's interesting that you ask because originally there were going to be three versions of Voltron. Made from the animes Go-Lion, Dairugger XV, and Albegas. The original order was to be Vehicle Voltron first, Albegas second and Go-Lion third which is why Lion Force is refered to as Voltron 3 and Vehicle Force is known as Voltron 1 (sadly Albegas never happened). But due to a delivery mistake the producers got the Go-Lion footage first. So in so many words Lion Force was first aired.

The Lion Voltron will always be better instead of the Vehicle Version. They really bashed the Vehicle Version in Robot Chicken very well. There is only ONE Voltron, and that is the LionForce Voltron.

@BuzzsawtheHedgehog - Well, everyone's entitled to their opinion. I remember back then that the younger crowd preferred the Lion Voltron due to the fantasy elements. Those of us in college liked Vehicle Voltron because it was more political and the issues involved large governments in conflict. So it's not realistic to say that "one is better than the other". It's subjective. For me, Vehicle Voltron had the best sword sequence, hands down. The spinning laser blades were also very cool.

Looking back at this, this was when I started a YouTube acount, and now, I understand what you mean. And to be honest, the vehicle Voltron did have its moments. I believe that there was one episode where both the Vehicle and the Lion versions battled each other. Don't know, it's been a while. I respect your opinion, and yeah, the vehicle version had almost a Gundam-like role to it when it came to government.

I do admit that overall the Lion Voltron is much more popular, plus having 5 pilots instead of 15 makes it easier for the audience to empathize with the characters. I know that you weren't putting Vehicle Voltron down, but I just don't understand why so many other YouTubers slam it down, when both have their good points. Take care :-)

It was a movie they made after they aired both series. It's called Fleet Of Doom and you can get it on DVD direct from World Events. The Movie is all new not using any footage from Golion or Dairugger (Except for the standard Stock Footage mot episodes used)
