I bought Vonda's quilt frames and they are as easy to use as the video shows. I used it for my first quilt and was so relieved that I didn't have to try basting the backing to muslin strips like my grandmother use to do with her old fashioned frames. It was not intimidating at all. Another wonderful feature is that everything needed comes in a carry box, and then stores away in a closet when I'm finished.
This looks fantastic and easy to use. My women's church group just finished a quilting bee using the old fashioned quilting frames, and I must say these look much better and definitely easier on the hands than thumb tacks or straight pins.
One thing I would add to this video. When they say "nails" in the frame, the diameter is the same as a thumb tack, so it isn't making huge holes in your fabric. (While not mentioned in this video, it is mentioned in an older video.)
I would love to get this from if I had the money for it it looks wonderful. Maybe this can be my present for after Christmas.
