@GabiN64 What Raiden did here isn't much compared to what Solidus did at the end of MGS2. Solidus basically tore up a bunch of Metal Gear RAY units which are much bigger and stronger than these drones, and Solidus didn't even break a sweat. Snake isn't that agile but rest assured he would have found a way to take them out.

I hated Raiden, until I thought about it. Indulge me briefly; look at Sons as a stand alone game: Rename but keep Foxhound & objectives, rename Arsenal & the MGRays, drop MG backstory but keep all NPC's & their objectives, beat the terrorist, beat the Harrier, battle the mechs, then kill their leader, a superior fighter with next gen exoskeleton btw, & do it all on hard or extreme sans bandanna or wig & we have one of gamings top 5 protagonist; ("I'd" say top 2-3), hardly a puss.

Raiden has become more awesome in terms of how he carries himself, he doesn't whine as much anymore.

In terms of combat strength, he was one of the best already. He took down 20+ Metal Gear RAY's in one battle already, these guys? they're nothing. I would have taken MGS2 Raiden over Gray Fox already.

Not sure why people say Raiden was a puss. haha What 'he' was depends on how 'you' played him. My friends & I played on extreme & killed everyone, hid from nothing. For us, he was a Solidus killing born to get hard mo-fo that took on a Harrier, the best of new FoxHound & several MGRays. Sound like a puss, really?? If you thought he sucked 'cause "you're" constantly getting killed/caught, check "your" skills, not Raiden's lol. He's no Snake, but he's no puss.

But ONLY because he's using a next gen exoskelleton that's better than Solidus' with the most advanced nano machines, and everything about his tech/training benefits from the years of r&d in between. But if it was equal ground...I'd bet on Gray Fox myself...but...it'd be close...and freak'n brutal lol!

...And I wouldn't cry foul if I lost that bet lolz, but I 'would' be surprised. Even with Raiden's training, I'd say Gray Fox.
