@Angel9837 Shawn completed in the Classic and right now at the Visa Championships ... but Nastia isn't competing. She is one of three people of the Worlds selection board for the USA. Which is a huge honor! :)

She needs to come back. The 2010 USA Gymnastics team definitely needs her, and it would be amazing to see her compete in 2012 Olympics, even if she doesn't win anything.
God I hope she returns. I think Team USA will need some vets. Nastia and Shawn to be specific. Those girl are just too talented to be waisting their abilities acting as regular celebrities. I love what they have done outside of the gym. (Sponserships, Charities, DWTS, Clothing lines and even some acting) They deserved and worked their butts off for those opportunities. But I don't want them waisting away like Carly. I say at least attempt to make the 2012 team. At least Alicia came back.
@Letissiaskatetapes23 well i did some research and turns out Carly had some back injuries or something and doing gymnastics (or rather, continuing) would have been detrimental to her health or whatever. so it really wasn't possible for Carly to return to gymnastics and try to make a comeback for 2008 even if she wanted to.
