Does savestates work when trying to get rare drops/steals or do the items just lock once the battle begins?

@BrianD0313 It does work when trying to get rare drops/steals (more likely for steals though). As for Gau's rages, I may not try to get every single one, just the ones that will get some use (Sand Ray, Blood Fang, etc. are useless...while Land Ray, Marchosias, Io, etc. are beneficial).

also if you leave shadow behind before the end of the world, then instead of finding shadow, the dog leads you to relm

Seek Shadow's dreams, Squaresoft said he has 7 dreams and i only managed to see 5. You'll learn something about his past.

You can defeat the second form of the behemoth king easily with a Raise spell or a phoenix down, although that's not terribly sporting, either.

@SirPercivalGallant That's why I never used it. I felt I could handle Behemoth King just fine without it. Usually I save my Raise spell for undead encounters that can give a bevy of problems.
