have seen my share of shops like this, I used to manage one in LA and insisted my techs keep the place clean.

This makes a bad impression on the customer. Some of those boards are probably being kept for spare parts but they shoud be placed inside boxes or somewhere out of sight.

tv repair is fun. it is now hard to get proprietory ic's and expensive, Video procc ic will even fix the sound

I have operated a television repair shop for 40 years. Never did i have such a messy shop. It reflects on the quality of the repairs. Work on one set an fix it. When parts were ordered i would put the unit back together while waiting. there is no need to have numerous units aparts.

I didn't think people still went to get their TV's repaired anymore but tossed them in the trash and got a new one when they quit working since a repair bill usually goes for half the cost of a new one.
