@bellabradley4ever it is about a queen of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisms) and her call for people who had Fantasy personas (Elves and the like) to stop being elves as the SCA is supposed to be as historically accurate as they can be. Heather Dale is a SCAdian (a SCA member) and is a very respected member of that community

@bellabradley4ever It's all a matter of interpretation. One way you could look at it is that the queen mentioned in the song could be time itself, saying that the age of faeries and Elves is up. That's how I see it.Or you could take it literally word for word, in which case it would seem that Man took over the lands, and the mystical times of old ended, becoming mere legends of the mist.

heather dale is soo good. i love this song, i sang this at my talent show this year. the crowd and the rest of my drama club love it. at our party a few weeks ago, they asked me to sing it again. we all love this song now.
