Recently, one of my classmates (from the fourth grade) contact me after watching this episode. He admitted to a life long fear of death and that my story (since he knows me personally) helped tremendously! Go figure!
@AnduinX : I would have to admit that I am a skeptic... not skeptical about the fact that NDE's are genuine death experiences - but I must admit that I simply do not believe every NDE story that I hear.
People can ( and will ) say a lot of things... anything they want actually! For all sorts of reasons: for attention, to be a guru, to be a part of a special club, to make money! One thing I KNOW IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. And have to admit that I don't believe every NDE story that I hear.
One question I would pose to the skeptics who still think that these experiences are entirely physical is, how do they explain the fact that so many experiencers are told 'you have to go back now' before they're revived? If this were a physical experience, how would the dying brain have advanced notice that it is about to revive? If the NDE were entirely physical one would expect the experience to simply end abruptly with the person back in their body - like a dream.
@TheSurvivalIndex Yes, I do remember some of the "download" but the Bio Channel chose not to use MOST of it. It simply doesn't make good TV I suppose. Your NDE is one of the most beautiful I've stories I've seen. Did you learn specific things during the "Download"? nanci Danison also uses the word "download" to describe the inpouring of knowledge.
You know something? I don't believe ALL NDE stories. I KNOW what happened to me... and some of the stories I hear are just way too different for me to believe. People can say anything and they do so for lots of different reasons... for attention, to be a guru, to make money, to be a member of a "special" club! And yes... isn't it curious about the "It's not your time" statement. But I swear that was exactly the message!

@raymondkinman: Wow, fantastic narrative of your experience. Thank you ! I don't think one needs to meet Jesus to know God: Interestingly, the highest Commands Jesus says, is to love God and love each other. Not to grow, or learn (new age stuff).
@raymondkinman Always curious what NDErs like yourself think of other people's NDE experiences; They can be so similar yet different. Ah... I wish I could elaborate about Creation and the "Download". I remember some of it, but certainly not most of it. Too big! But at the time I understood completely! The Bio Channel did a good job overall, but I gave them a lot of stuff that didn't make it to the final edit. Thinking that perhaps I should write this stuff... maybe a book?
Hey Lotsasmarts: Yes, I remember "who I really am" as well as a half a dozen items from the download. I gave the Bio Channel producer all of it but they didn't choose to include it in the final edit. I was really amazed that they left out some key points - for example, at the end when I was told I had to go back (the second time) God told me that I could come back ANY TIME I WISH... but not ONE MOMENT before I had fulfilled my purpose. I was given my purpose and sent back to my body.

Besides being the most interesting Christian after death story ever told, the addition of a witness interacting throughout and the flat-line features lends credibility of Ray's account of life after actual body death. Raymond... do you remember "who you really are"? And do you remember any of the download about creation? If not, have you considered doing hypnosis? There are many who share your experience and have worked hard to remember details suppressed~ I know one woman who has been working on it for 4 years.
