I've also read pretty recently that Derringer took credit for the song in a Milli Vanilli sort of situation. I cant remember the guy's name who supposedly really sang it (Bob something maybe). I doubt it's owned by Derringer because it was made as a wrestling Theme and Vince always makes sure to get a hold of these things. Otherwise, Hogan would use it in TNA.

Rick Derringer did sing the song (there are versions of Rick's on YouTube so you can look it up). I have no clue where you are getting your information. Most likely, since it was used as a wrestling theme, McMahon did buy the rights.
