Maybe so. But he's goin to need to get better on the defense. Allen may not have been a good offensive player but he was an excellent defensive player. He was also capable of playing 3 different positions on the floor(Shooting guard, Point guard, Small forward). Losing Allen was a tough loss for the Celtics. The reason why he left was because he felt overshadowed by the Big 4 and he wanted to make a name for himself. Not the best move but it was understandable.
