i wudve bought a 3g, but i ended up buying the 2g becuase 3g = tethered jailbreak and tbh i cba with going back to the computer everytime it powers off/ reboots. Even though the 2g was lyk £20 more expensive its kinda worth it because i can enjoy an untethered jailbreak, anyways, my ipod touch will be coming tommorow hopefully (refurbishes), ill do an unboxing :D

lol XD i have an iphone and an old ipod 2nd gerneration (it has the 3rd generation software tho) and i noticed that too XD. iphone is sssoo much better. only thing i wish is that you didnt have to pay for the phone company or texting =D

WiFi is for both free but if you have i iPod and you don't have WiFi you don't have internet but with a iPhone you always got internet but you have to pay for that, like normal phones:D

no, the wifi is free as long as the wifi host doesnt make you pay for it. Most wifi hotspots are free, though. Hotspot is just wherever you can pick up wifi. Thanks for watching!

The internet is free on the iPod Touch, but it is only available in a WiFi hotspot. Otherwise you will have no internet. The iPhone 3G, requires a $30 data plan, and that gives you internet anywhere you have a cell signal or you have WiFi.

if you have a jailbroken 2g touch then u can get volume boost that makes it better but not that perfect

Yeah I had it Jailbroken, but it slowed it down to much, now I have 3.0 Beta on both of them.

If you have a iPod Touch 2G, it will play through its built in speaker, but if you have the first gen, sorry bud you're outa luck. Buy a portable speaker

Thanks i was looking for something like this because all the comparisons i found were from the iPhone EDGE , because i have an iTouch 2G , and on max , its not that loud as a nokia 5300, its for " casual listening " lol
