Hey man I think the no chase applies to the outer roads. I know they are no longer allowed to chase on a road that is mostly curvy. Not sure about highways bro
The only one driving recklessly in this video is the guy with the camera. Steve, what makes you think it is OK to speed and weave in and out of all those bikes to get some video?
You don't have to worry about them getting nailed by a cop car, most of these boneheads will end up taking themselves out. Is that clown really riding without a shirt? Ha ha, what a tardo. It's dopes like this that give real riders a bad name.
This was filmed starting in Ladue. I live in Ladue. That was a Ladue undercover dodge charger. What boggles my mind is why the fuck did this Ladue officer decide to chase god knows how many bikes all the way into the des peres.? He went through the frontnec area like he owned it. I hope this Ladue officer was fired. What a stupid asshole!
even if the bikers are wrong if they wreck they r hurting themselves theyre bike and MAYBE your car that is covered by insurance i guaranteeur 5000 pound car will protect you from a 500 pound motorcycle but see wat happens when u get hit by a 5000 pound cop car
thing about the no chase thing, its not a law...its departmental policies.and alot of local police agencies have this policy, very few sheriff and no state police agencies have this as a policy.they normally only do not chase if it is safer to let the person go and try to get them later.(mostly only applies to speeders)
Dude, if you do not say what you were doing was wrong then you obviously think it was right. You numb-nuts think you can ride like idiots and endanger 'innocent lives' . You're the fools that think you are above the and should be disciplined not the cop.
I would say the cops aren't creating the problems, how you drive what causes the issues and the accidents that happen from your actions. Am glad to St. Louis County PD is going to start pursuing more.
I have to say the officer did a fine job! He was pursuing a fleeing suspect and when pursuing a fleeing suspect Missouri State Law provides Police Officers are not subject to traffic law provided they have their lights and sirens activated (which he did). What I did see was dozens of motorcycles violating the law. The guy with the camera was the worse violater out of everyone. I wonder if the guy with the camera feels stupid considering he was the one breaking the law lol!
@Imsmartyourdumb Great, you've got the mindset of every cop who enlists just for a gun and to have power! Good job!
Unfortunately, everything you said was wrong. The cop was illegally chasing when there is a "no-chase law" for motorcycles. He was endangering more lives than anyone out there.
Get some fucking common sense before saying something.
@GainedCoast WOW! I can't believe the stupidity of some people. There is no such thing as a no chase law in the state of Missouri. I challenge you to show me the Missouri State Statute number of the no motorcycle chase law LOL! What is law is that when a police officer is chasing a subject he is not bound by traffic laws. This is why officers are allowed to speed and break through red lights if they have lights and sirens activated. The officers did an outstanding job!
T-shirts and etc? I just wonder why those guys were even wearing helmets? Yeah that willl save your head, but sorry you have no skin left or working bones... :(
PUBLIC ROADS ARE NOT THE PLACE TO RIDE THE WAY YOU DO. I live in the City of St. Louis and I am completely fed up with the way you jack holes abuse every and all traffic laws. I live very near I-55 and it IS NOT YOUR PERSONAL DRAG STRIP. Look at the idiot who posted this video. Protip: your speed can be very accurately concluded by comparing how many stripes you have passed versus time. DIAF.
yeah.....i was even thinking WTF is the cop doing!! i wonder if he realizes how many ppl he cut off. he def shoulda ended it b4 it began!! like the rest did. i love your videos!! but the cop.....shoulda not even tried! and Hell, i have plenty of cop friends, state trooper friends, cheif of police, etc... and they wouldnt have even pursued that!! maybe cuuz they are also riders!!
I wonder why the cop bothered to go to the front of the pack when there were smaller sized bikes than the orange one that would have been easier to get. And where are all these Sunday rides happening that aren't on the SF site?
@68drush no one said what the bikers were doing was right, this video was simply to show how cops feel they are above the law and can put inoccent lives in danger, there was no need to drive the way officer Armstrong did in this video, and if he did it here he has probably done it before and will continue to do it until he is disciplined.... and 68drush you must be a cop or related to one
@sitdownsteve Strange he went all the way to the front to grab someone, guess he was trying send a message. If he would have knocked a bike down and/or killed someone that would have been his career. Not a bring move on his part really.
@sitdownsteve look at how you (or the bike with the camera on it) is riding. You think you're above the law! You were swerving in and out of traffic and clearly exceeding the speed limit. It's like your'e a pot calling a kettle black.
The police officer has the right to pursue anyone breaking any laws in order to enforce the law.
P.S. There is no such thing as a "no chase law" in the state of Missouri. That is decided by each individual police department.

@sitdownsteve The officer was driving responsibly. He was changing lanes very slowly to ensure no "innocent" rider was going to get hit.
