i'm having god awful lag problems, my specs are: Windows XP pro 32 bit, 4 GB DDR2 Ram, Nvidia GeForce 9600GT (512mb) and processor is Pentium D dual core, 2.87 GHZ. any ideas as to what I can do?

@blahblahoww123 the game is very CPU intensive because of the havok engine, my guess is u may need a stronger processor

@anakin760 with out knowing ur CPU speed i cant say. but the graphics card is going to be alittle on the weak end so ur maybe looking at low settings.

xp version,

vista and all other.

firewall disabled

and it is not only star wars launcher.

i have more exe files that not open.

is it a mistake of windows 7?

un fortunately i wouldnt know the problem. the other thing i would say is get the CD version. or if u have deamon tools to try mounting it as well.

try going to ur computer and program files. then find the game and then try running it in both admin and reg. if this dosnt work then u have a corrupted file.

hi,

for some reason my launcher keeps crashing. The game itself works fine. I've updated it and made sure everything else is up to date (graphics etc.). Is there a SWTFU Launcher.exe in one of the dvd's i can copy or are there any uploads of that launcher itself? I'm assuming that's my only option but if you have any suggestions i'd appreciate it. Oh and btw i've run it as admin, i've chosen the compatbility mode as xp sp2, and set the res of the launcher to 640x480. thx

yup tried it. i found another way to change the res. i found the config.xml and changed it there :)

Thanks for the info, but can u change other graphics settings as well? like shutting off the anti-alising and lowering the terrain detail and shadow detail and stufffs like that. Not only changing the resolution

i havent found any way to do it yet. i think its tied into ur res or your control panel depending on what make u have.
