I remember when i was a little kid , i was playing the same game as this (all stars). I was just playing super mario bros 3 when suddenly this happened , i was so fucking scared and i didn't know what was happening. Damn that was so scary, but yeah now i think it's awesome. I forgot everything about tilts until i saw this video.

This might interest viewers of such a video as the above. And I have a witness of the veracity of the following story! In 2006 I turned on my NES (with that friend present) after inserting another game cartridge from the one we'd been playing. That annoying grey cartridge read fail screen came up. The NES started making this high pitched noise. It went higher, higher, higher still, until eventually it couldn't go any higher (scary!). An easter egg as my friend thought, or some unknown glitch?

I was playing this game once with my (not-PAL) SNES and my little brother pushed the cartridge a bit. (Right when I finished a level on Super Mario Bros.)

The game freaked out, played a noise from SMB2, and then showed a brown screen while playing the underwater theme from SMB and making a continuous coin noise.

@thefunkyscissors Actually, instead of trying to be a smart-ass and failing, do your research. The PAL console had the same design as the Super Famicom but had a region lockout internally, it also played the games slower meaning that even with import gear it was hard to play American/Japanese games. Trust me it is not a Super Famicom.

You see, I had no knowing whether that was a Super Famicom or not, because I've never seen that game before. @MrHello64 Actually the PAL version played games in 50hz and had a region lockout chip so it could only play PAL games. Whereas the NTSC and JAP version played in 60hz and had the same region lockout chip so if you were creative you could play JAP games on an NTSC console without buying unnecessary junk.

Those lockout chips aren't *really* part of the system, because you can remove it and it won't affect it in any other way than being able to play multiple regions.
