I have the MRC 1800 and its the same prime mover sounds.MRC is brilliant too in sound decoders and so simple to install.Nice job!

The loco and decoder were around $ 60 each.
yes, the souds can be changed with the black box also.

If you dont have DCC yet you will be amazed how the inexspensive MRC BLACKBOX with straight DC is.

No, the decoder is MRC 1658, and has all four Prime mover sound set included in the decoder, along with, IIRC 33 horns, and 8 different bells.
