So Q!. Love him, and when he wanted Janeway to be the mother of his baby.... was priceless. I actually was rooting him on...kind of. I loved Chekota more...until he ran off with Doc's Seven. Bastards all. If you can't tell I love J/C and D/S
Actually, when you consider Quinn's point about the Q eventualy running out of things to DO- what with them having infinite power in a finite universe-, in a sense, Q DOES have a 'confined' living space...
@MarcusSLazarus The Q don't have infinite power. They have difficulty killing themselves as well as finding each other, are vulnerable to humans if the humans have Q weapons, live in only one galaxy, and they are afraid of humanity. They aren't even the most powerfull beings in Star Trek. The Organians are more powerfull, and they don't have infinite power.
@MarcusSLazarus If they have limmitations of thier power perceptable to the likes of us than they have no where near infinite power. That being said, on the scale of infinity, being stuck in one galaxy is a huge limmitation. Being vunerable to humans is a huge vulnirability.
@monokhem Their inability to commit suicide could just be one of those paradoxes- like the question of if God could create a sandwich so big even He couldn't eat it-, and since they probably acquired the Q weapons with Lady Q's help it's not like it's a weakness they could regularly exploit (And how do we KNOW Q's confined to this galaxy?)
@MarcusSLazarus Paradox wouldn't be a problem for beings of such power, and Q's confinement to this galaxy is referenced multilple times. A specific example is when he substitutes galaxy for world in the shakespere quote.
A frog with an AK-47 isn't a threat to humans, so it stand to reason that the Q are less advanced than us then we are of the frog, far short of infinite power. Regardless, that humans can exploit weaknesses of the Q is the basis for Q's entire involvement with humanity.
they should have made a series with Q. I'm sure the series would be far more succesful than any other star trek

Not too shabby, to say the least; a good blend of lyrics and music, and a HIGHLY interesting concept into the bargain.
After all, Q as the Genie? What's NOT to find interesting about that idea?

Indeed! With Q's INFINITE COSMIC POWER... and tiny itty bitty living space.

@monokhem A few limitations like that just means that they have NEAR-infinitie power; it's close enough to make no real odds
