  • No Truk can handel EVERYTHING there is a piont that you go to far, this group whent one after the other on the same track at the same speed, same thing hapens, duh.

  • There is a point this truk can brake??? Must be the Home Inprovment guy driving it..lol

  • Ford sucks!!

  • Ford is bending these frames on their own test track, explain that

  • @phatrides222000 I'd say when you test you MUST go to the breaking point, no?Explaind ?

  • @ArubaSailing i agree, but for ford does need to back their claims. they said this was a baja ready truck. some guys have bent frames on light to moderate off roading. i have to say though, it would be cheap to fix this (frame reinforcement) and a normal driver will have no issues. not sure what my original comment is, but i drink in comment alot, lol.

  • @phatrides222000 Every person that bent a frame did it on a trail they did not prerun going over 60mph. Just because a truck can do 99.999% of a trail at 100mph doesn't mean it can handle 0.0001%, and that is all it takes to break something. Remember that on the baja 1000 trophy trucks average speed is about 65mph, and there is a 40% dropout rate. However, there is a stock vw bug class, so its not a hard course to run. Just need to slow down for some shit.

  • Of course people are going to find ways to destroy these trucks because for some reason they've been given the idea that Raptors are indestructible. Ford didn't start the rumor. Ford made it very clear about the intended use of the Raptor and the ability to recover from getting mildly airborne, off road, at high speed but Ford never said anything about the Raptor being a Jumping truck. Now you have morons trying to catch as much air as they can and they are surprised when they break it?

  • @Dogurasu Jumping it is fine, they did not break thier trucks jumping them. They broke thier trucks trying to climb a foot (12 inch) tall ledge at 70 MPH. Raptor has maybe 4 inches of available uptravel at rest, so figure out how hard that hit must have been on the frame.

  • I agree with you but the problem is that people are taking this truck to extremes just to destroy it.

It's almost like they are jealous of the Raptor and are doing everything they can to destroy them.

Jumping is fine as long as it's done with a little bit of common sense but if you've seen any of these videos on YouTube of morons driving the Raptor on MoToCross tracks trying to catch 6 feet of air then it's just beyond stupid. The drivers in the example on this car show video are just as bad

  • @Dogurasu How can somebody be jealous of a truck they own, and why would they try to break it? No, they were just inexperianced offroaders that thought the Raptor could handle anything a dirt road could possibly have on it. Jumping a truck and landing on a flat, smooth downramp is actually very easy on the suspension if you get it right. All the noise about the trucks frame bending is caused by one person, a mod on a major raptor forum that is deleting posts that disagree with him...

  • @EatmyDust1311

You're not telling me anything I don't know. I'm just pointing out that most of the people that are busting up Raptors are morons that can't drive. It's not an indestructible vehicle like most of them think it is. And I'm not talking about the owners of Raptors being jealous but the people that flock all over any story of Raptor damage just to try and make the truck sound like it's not a good vehicle. Like the idiots on this car show.

  • It's not a crusade... Just calling out your bullshit, that's all. Of course they would side with Ford, the lies about hitting that bump at 100 are just frustrating.

  • I don't see how that can be interpreted as sarcasm... Just poor taste. Seems strange to wish any harm or even a fucked up truck on anybody, especially a fellow owner/enthusiast, regardless of how you feel about the frame debate... Stay classy.

  • @bluesti3 you try stirring shit up all over the internet huh? let it go, you're just pissed that you thought they would actually side with you and the other owners who bent their frames. Instead they sided with SVT which at the end of the day you had to know they were going to do. don't take it out on me, and good luck with your crusade of trying to convince people I am wishing harm on fellow Raptor owners...let me know how far you get with that.

  • Love that there's already 1 dislike, must have been one of the cum catch's that run the Z....

  • 36 views in 5 hours, not bad. hopefully all Z converts who are ready to join fordraptorforum. com

  • @FORDRaptorForum Not when the poster is making comments like, "Too bad they made it home"... that sure sounds like the kind of place I want to be a member of. I guess your'e forgetting many FRF members were on that run, not just "Z" members... douche bag.

  • @bluesti3 hey bud can't take sarcasm? would you have rather "blown a shock" and not gotten home?

  • More forumz zerglings crying... Waaaa I don't know how to drive my truck, and Ford won't honor the warranty.
