  • OLA COMO ESTA!! AMIGOS DO BRASIL

  • Way to share love and cultural treasures!

    :-)

  • I agree with shadowsaiyan, good guys and good intentions, but this is china! Their martial arts history is filled famous names in the martial arts world, not to mention is the birthplace of wushu, the shaolin and wudan temples, the peking and beijing opera, and martial arts is part of their history and folklore. One would have to have masters of equivalent skill such as cobra mansa, or jogo de dentro, to take it to an already rich place in arts.

  • yEAH BUT cHINA GOT IT FROM iNDIA

  • I can appreciate what these guys are doing, but their jogo de Angola is so weak! =(

Asian martial arts will continue to look down on us with public displays such as this. But I suppose actual classes, workshops and seminars to improve your skill just aren't gonna happen there... Very sad.

  • That is what the retired Chinese men and women do, get-tegother within the same age group, dance, sing....very typical Chinese retirees...

  • brazilians are very suave.

  • thanks for the upload ^ ^

  • What was that singing at the end??

  • All over China, you'll see groups of elderly men and women get together for social activities, like dancing or singing old songs. The song they are singing is a popular patriotic song from the 1950s and 60s.

  • I would like to see more about this. What are these songs and what do they say?

  • competing with tai chi guys

  • tkx

  • aww finally sexybeijing uploaded a new video! i've been waiting so long lol

  • hehehe e bem legal ver um pouco da cultura brasileira em Pequim!!!

    我希望中国的朋友来巴西学巴西的文化!!

    巴西欢迎你们呀!!!

  • I always dreamed of 巴西:)

  • haha,cool~~

    everyone,welcome to Beijing

  • Cool! Although it looks that is a different style that is taught here in Brazil.

Would be nice see it being mixed up with wushu!

  • The style is called Capoeira Angola, which is more traditional than the more popular and common in Brazil style; Capoeira Regional.

  • my man jam representing conspiracy theory bboy club, holding it down in beijing!!

  • great video :) When he was telling her to keeping tapping the bell all I could think of was the SNL skit when Christopher Walken keeps telling the badn that they need more cowbell XDD

  • Just for the record, it's *capoeira*, not capoiera.

  • yup

  • where's sophie haven't seen her in a while!

  • Would be smart for these guys to recruit the local beijing b-boys into their Capoiera group... get some real hodas going!

  • I love the Chinese people trying to play the instrument on the side there.. they get so into it, keep fighting about who's doing it wrong. XD

  • Capoiera is so much fun to watch! I know people who practice it. :)

  • eddy gordo is brasilian

  • tekken 3?

  • I don't understand how can their be soo much old people there o.o

  • Dont they fight like that jamacian guy in teken.

  • Brazilian

  • Good to see that African culture (no matter what country in the diaspora it's from) is being represented positively in China.

After the way the Chinese Government treated Africans towards the beginning of the Olympics, this is the type of cultural exchange needed.

  • Why what happened?

  • Google "Racist Beijing Police" see articles on what happened. In short, the police were trying to crack down on drugs. They went to some popular expat hangout where there are some African dealers. Instead of doing it correctly, the police went grabbing every single Black person they could find, beat them, and took them to jail. Most were expats, students and even the son of a diplomat, who went to the hospital for a concussion.

  • yea i was in bj just before they was cracking down hard, it didnt work most of the other expects could easily score

man i wish i had known of sexy bj before i went there i feel like you could have showed me or at lost told me of so many interesting thing!!! this was kool vid btw

  • Yea.......they should have beat the whiteboys too.

  • ...? This has nothing to do with Whites. The police should have been professional, found out who the real wrongdoers were and go after them, not penalize an entire race of people for the actions of a few.

  • wow wtf thats terrible, ignorance is always the founder of stupidity. Thankyou for replying ^^

  • Having lived in Beijing for awhile, I can vouch that they're extremely racists to blacks. It's sad.

  • I'm not racist I just don't like those "certain" african-americans in gangs, that are violent and steal shit. Its basically white peoples fault they're like that, so they should stfu.

Anyway blacks got such an impact on our youth culture today, clothes music, the way they talk etc.

  • Glad to see you back.

  • Capoiera is a form of martial arts. Originated in Brazil.

  • Great vid. but Sophie where are you? =)

  • 我顶 !~~~~~~~~~ 你最近一定很忙吧 !~~~~~~

  • Your are ignorant if you dont know what it is...goshh

  • If he don't know maybe this guy has been staying in the backwaters of some Chinese village all his life. You want to see some of the dances that go on there, indescribable.

  • Trying to teach Chinese a sense of rhythm and rhyme is the clownish part.

  • You don't know what you're talking about. I went to school in China, and many in the younger generation are incredible dancers. The larger cities have an underground B-boy culture, and there are alot of hip-hop clubs. Those guys were some of the best dancers I've ever seen (including the States). Also, these guys in this video are terrible dancers, so I don't know what you're talking about.

  • These dancers may not be all that in the West but in China the level of good dancers isn't saying 'one'.

I've lived in China for sometime too homeboy and aint anybody I seen in the time I was there getting any props from me when it comes to hiphop or bashment dancing.

But I aint a hater. The Chinese can do a mean 'Lion Dance', LOL.

  • can u translate what you just said in English , please

  • Why the fuck are you chirping up? No one asked for you opinion. This was an A to B conversation so C you way out of it.

  • hahaha he says what it is int he begining

these guys arent great go find someone else who is good and watch them

they dont need capo they already have wushu thats another great dancing martial art

  • I missed SB, glad to see more posts!

  • hmmm, still having sophie withdrawl though...

  • woot about time i enjoy watching ur shows keep up the good work =D
