about 30 million people live in canada compared to the 300 million people in the us. There are 810 shootings a year in canad, multiply that by ten to equal the us, and that is 8,000 compared to the 20,000. But Canada has significant less urban areas, as well as areas of poverty. Also, 16k of those deaths were suicides (of the 20k in the us). So keep that in mind and there really isnt a huge margin of gun deaths VS the US and Canada. This movie is BS. Almost fell for it. 5 min google search ftw.

I live in England and I have never seen a gun, I play Modern Warfare 2 and so do all my friends. If I ever saw or new anyone with a gun I would freak out. The only time in my lifetime that I have ever heard of someone get shot anywhere near me was a year ago, it made news coverage and it was very unusual. Its all about knife crime here...

about 30 million people live in canada compared to the 300 million people in the us. There are 810 shootings a year in canad, multiply that by ten to equal the us, and that is 8,000 compared to the 20,000. But Canada has significant less urban areas, as well as areas of poverty. Also, 16k of those deaths were suicides (of the 20k in the us). So keep that in mind and there really isnt a huge margin of gun deaths VS the US and Canada. This movie is BS. Almost fell for it. 5 min google search ftw.
