The Uigers Turks came from central Asia and attacked north west China during the Tang dynasty ~1500 years ago. They were eventually defeated and fled back to central asia and elsewhere. No one believes the statistic propaganda from Beijing. I have a friend who has confirmed that over 50 Uighurs are still missing after the rioting and many more than have not been accounted for. Beijing simply wants to confuse people and force sympathy for its side of the story. 70 years of Chinese rule in East Turkestan has itself been termed genocide: genocide of Uighur culture and language and religion, where they have been made a minority in their own homeland.

No offence to our Muslim friends around the globe, but it seems that there's quite a number of cases in the world where Muslim find it difficult to live peacefully with others and always demanded independent. It happened in southern Philippine, southern Thailand... and now Xingjiang China.

Islam has taught to abide the laws and rules of state, don't attack innocent people, don't violate, bring peace and ask Allah for help if you are a true believer.
So Ughur Muslims must be loyal to China Government and its state and endeavor to progress with other Chinese people (Hans) in all walks of life and bring harmony and peace in society. As a Muslim nation they must be more responsible, calm and patient.

The Uigers Turks came from central Asia and attacked north west China during the Tang dynasty ~1500 years ago. They were eventually defeated and fled back to central asia and elsewhere. Those captured and surrendered were allowed to stay as subjects of the Tang dynasty in Xinjiang. On the hindside, the then benovolent Tang emperor might have unkowingly left a time bomb for PROC to solve now.
