sorry, but the n95 is slow as hell...

plus the internet looks like shit on it. I am sorry but the iphone 1g looks better in all applications when you don't use 3g or gps.

Rubbish. The N95 with latest firmware is much faster than the iPhone for at least as many things as the iPhone is much faster then the N95. They're just different devices with different strengths.

These are very, very useful reviews. I've been watching your reviews of the E90 with keen interest and see they are available in Hong Kong but not in Australia. Do you know if there is a risk with buying smartphones from another region to where it will primarily be used?

Yes, usual issues with power supplies and warranty. Best to wait and get the regionalised version/box, IMHO.

Steve, I got myself a Z8 and must correct a wee thing in your video - for a start I have synchronised mine with Outlook for everything bar the email. I'm just waiting until my contract proper with Vodafone is active before enabling imap on it which will sort that out.

Secondly - the interface with no text on the icons - options, view as list. Sorted ;)

Not usually, no. Which is fair enough. The N93, E90 and N95 were acquired through being part of Nokia's beta test programmes (hey, it's who you know etc 8-) )... I've also accumulated the odd device that PR companies say I can hang onto for a while, for comparison purposes. So I've normally got a selection of 6 or 7 devices of various vintages here. Much like other smartphone geeks? 8-)

teheheheh :) all your stuff is a nokia e90. but surely you must have some other things? i use my n73 for all those things except pictures for which i have a nikon d40-the n73 camera brought me into the world of photography, but its not that good. great show but the audio is a bit off-its not in sync with the video

Yes, I just happened to have the E90 to hand that day..... I was only making the point about smartphones, I could equally well have used my N95, for example. No sync problems here, by the way. Anybody else find a problem?
