do you pass smog with the high flow cats? i really want to do an slp, h-pipe set up and the O/R are something like $300 less but i keep hearing about these people getting like $5000 fines or some BS...i would just switch back to stock h-pipe for smog test...but if i can pass the test and just sound tickets (if any) with the high flow cats i would...any answers will be greatly appreciated!!!

Just go to Dynatech and search for a local dealer. I live in the same city where they are located and I didn't purchase my setup they actually used my car for a mock up to make sure they fit the 07's. Good luck with the exhaust and thanks for the comments.

No weird noises. I had no welds the whole system has the exhaust straps. Post a video of the weird noises and of your setup I would like to hear it. Which Magnaflow did you go with?
I'll try to get a video of the new setup once I get her tuned. As for the noise, I recorded it, but didn't post because all you can really hear is the whine from the supercharger.

Mechanic who installed said it was the metal extracting against other metals, but in reality, the distance it does extract is so small it shouldn't cause anything to change. You will most likely get a ticket I would keep your stock mufflers in case you need them. My car is not a daily driver but I do have cats. It has been that way for over a year and I have not gotten a ticket, but I wouldn't risk it on a daily driver.

Easy...Cams, CAI, Longtubes, 93 Octane Tune, read some of the forums out there, if you think this is a crazy number for a NA 4.6 3v then you are uneducated...take some of the time you waste bashing peoples vids and do some reading to educate yourself. It has be two dynos and they were within 10 hp of one another.
what i said about slp is just my personal option. i had slp and took that shit off and threw mac on mine, u prob did put 340 to the wheels cause u have a smaller gear than i have takes longer to redline...i have FRPP hot rod cam, dif springs and retainers, delete plates, bbk intake, UDP, full mac set up, 410 gear. had mine tuned by bob kurgan

All the parts except the SLP's Loud Mouths are Dynatech. The set up is called Super Maxx made by Dynatech. The link shows the exact setup I have. Just google Super Maxx by Dynatech. I live in Indiana and we do not have emissions testing, if that is a concern for where you live then I would contact Dynatech and see if they think this setup would give you trouble with the state you live in. Yes the O2 sensors are relocated.
My Gt use to sound like this until my High-Flow cats mellowed out and got rid of that raspyness when you let off the gas which i like a lot better now. Now my Gt doesnt sound like a Fart Can lol

Dude, you have a sweet stang, but you need to work on your shifting. From a dead stop you're always murdering the clutch and over revving when you downshift.

What size of headers was this? I love the way your car sounds. I have a pypes o/r x and flowmaster 40's and I'm not happy with it. I'm thinking of changing to this setup. This is one of the meaniest sounding systems I've heard for the new mustangs. By the way how is highway interior sound with the slp?
Thanks for the comments. The headers are 1"3/4. The interior can get noisy. For a daily driver I would definably consider installing some type of noise reduction material like dynamat.
If I did install dynamat; would that effect the way it sounded outside or just the interior sound? Also, I'm not fimilar with dynamat. How exactly does it work? This would be an everyday driver. Thanks for the info.
Dynamat is a peel and stick sound deadening material it would not effect the sound it would only make it quieter inside the car. It is expensive and for some more involved process then they would want to tackle. It is not difficult just time consuming, because you basically need to gut the interior minus the headliner and dash components. This product needs to be applied directly to the sheet metal under the carpet, seats and interior panels(door, kick, etc.).
Hey man, I wanted to put long tube headers and SLP loudmouths on my 08 Mustang but people told me you had to have over 450-500 horsepower otherwise there wouldn't be enough back pressure. It didn't make much sense to me but I guess it's working on your car and it sounds great so I guess I'll be following in your steps.

Sounds motherly loud! More like a wild pro-stock at the strip. But your clutch isn't gonna last long driving like that. Practice your shifting as your timing is way off....once you dial that in, you'll have a whole new car.

I have had no problems with the relocation, but the cpu does throw an error code every once in awhile, but that is usually due to where I buy my gas.

My Gt use to sound like this until my High-Flow cats mellowed out and got rid of that raspyness when you let off the gas which i like a lot better now. Now my Gt doesnt sound like a Fart Can lol

I would think they would sound very similar. I have heard good things about Kooks and JBA either would be a good choice.

Dude, you have a sweet stang, but you need to work on your shifting. From a dead stop you're always murdering the clutch and over revving when you downshift.

Ha, is ok. I know a lot of people that love the sound this thing makes. But ya know, it's a personal thing. I happen to like JBA long tubes with an H pipe and SLP's.

What size of headers was this? I love the way your car sounds. I have a pypes o/r x and flowmaster 40's and I'm not happy with it. I'm thinking of changing to this setup. This is one of the meaniest sounding systems I've heard for the new mustangs. By the way how is highway interior sound with the slp?

Thanks for the comments. The headers are 1"3/4. The interior can get noisy. For a daily driver I would definably consider installing some type of noise reduction material like dynamat.

If I did install dynamat; would that effect the way it sounded outside or just the interior sound? Also, I'm not fimilar with dynamat. How exactly does it work? This would be an everyday driver. Thanks for the info.

Dynamat is a peel and stick sound deadening material it would not effect the sound it would only make it quieter inside the car. It is expensive and for some more involved process then they would want to tackle. It is not difficult just time consuming, because you basically need to gut the interior minus the headliner and dash components. This product needs to be applied directly to the sheet metal under the carpet, seats and interior panels(door, kick, etc.).

There are also products that can be brushed or sprayed on to the under body but I have no experience with those.

Hey man, I wanted to put long tube headers and SLP loudmouths on my 08 Mustang but people told me you had to have over 450-500 horsepower otherwise there wouldn't be enough back pressure. It didn't make much sense to me but I guess it's working on your car and it sounds great so I guess I'll be following in your steps.

Sounds motherly loud! More like a wild pro-stock at the strip. But your clutch isn't gonna last long driving like that. Practice your shifting as your timing is way off....once you dial that in, you'll have a whole new car.
