  • The Sinistral's behavior in II is most interesting of em all though. While Gades predictably destroys a random town but doesn't actually take any lives - the master of destruction. The Master of Chaos Amon KILLS an entire town..causes all kinds of grief for the elves, mermaids & forgotten people. The MISTRESS OF DEATH helps humans like no one else in the game and helps the suffering and dead and the Master of Terror destroys and kills another ENTIRE town while their leader does nothing...STRANGE.

  • can you tell me how to save this game i just bought it yesterday and want to know how to save it.

  • you have to talk to the priest's when you are in a village

  • Daos: Your feeble efforts are useless against our dark powers.

Right, that's why that's why they just kick your asses. Are your characters in Lufia II as strong when they get to this level?

  • Way stronger, Dual Blade is so fricken rigged in Lufia 2. That's disregarding Dragon quests (egg rings) and Ancient Cave Quest and capsule monsters...still stronger.

As just a character prespective Selan is much stronger than she is here and Artea is stronger but losses his awesome all bow attack ability though.

Storyline prespective is the same result though Selan still dies but there's more with Maxim & Erim (not to spoil everything)

  • I already know about the whole plot in Lufia II, I saw a playthrough to it.

Random note, there's an interesting plot point I wanted to tell about in Lufia III. After you kill Gades, Amon and Daos, though you don't have a clue where Erim is, you are told that only way to really kill the Sinistrals is with the Dual Blade. Though your told nothing of their ability to come back if Erim is alive, that does coincide with how the stay dead a lot longer when you kill them with the Dual Blade.

  • Huh? Wait Maxim's descedant of Lufia III doesn't kill the Sinistrals with Dual Blade?! Wtf...epic failure if that's true! That's tradition!

  • Maxim didn't kill Gades and Amon with the Dual Blade. Just so know though, in Lufia III you can have up to 9 characters at once, so that would explain why you might need the Dual Blade the first time. Another gameplay difference is that you lose if 3 characters die.

You do still get the Dual Blade in Lufia III, I think it's right before you fight Erim. After her, the other 3 revive and you fight Gaurd Daos, then you fight Erim again, then Zalbak.

  • Wow Erim sounds like a bitch in III lol. Ok so you basically DO end up defeating Gades and Amon with Dual Blade because Daos+Amon+Gades = Guard Daos. Then you defeat Erim with Dual Blade ok so it's all good.

Yah that 9 player thing is stupid lol. 9v1 = not so heroic!

  • Erim was trying to get your characters to kill her. In any case, the other Sinistrals revive as long she's around whether she wants them to or not. In III, she doesn't want them back. Gades is also kinda funny in III. Wain mocks him and says he destroyed his own mind and says he's just a guy acting tough. Even the Gades mops the floor with him, Wain is relived to find that a Sinistral can be human, since he thought they'd be above petty insults.

  • Jez Erim always wants to be defeated by the humans & Dual Blade, in I,II and now I guess III...she seriously just doesn't like being a Sinistral! Being human is gay Erim, enjoy your power! :P

Well whoever Wain is he's a badass then cuz Gades is a dumbass.

  • Well when she has her power a trio of destructive megalomaniacs come and wreck havoc in the world that she gradually takes a likely to.

Wain is Maxim's decedent in III. You name him whatever you want, but Wain is the default name.

  • Before you say anything, don't forget we already saw that they aren't above asking dumb questions.

  • ehhhhhhhhhhhh x__x; Did you have to fight all 4 bosses in a row without a break???? naaah If you did, that really sucks xDD

  • yes you do, I think you get a chance to cure between battles

  • Also, you didn't seem to notice that you characters levels (you don't play through the rest of the game with them it would be too easy) are all in the high seventies. You can easily withstand the enemies attacks during the fight and they can't dish nearly as much damage as you can.

  • @dragonstormx I've finished the 4 Sinistrals (even Daos) with the characters at levels between 49-51 in Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals.

  • I prefer the music in the second game during this exact same battle.

  • this* my bad

  • games like htis still excist :O lol

  • I was wondering what Trick did (It's been twelve years since I first played Lufia...gosh, I'm old). Thank you, and thanks for watching.

  • Make Artea use Trick on Maxim to boost his attack. Artea doesn't do the most damage but is great at boosting Maxim's attack power. That's what I did.
