The 2008 sighting was a HOAX. Look it up. Almost everybody agrees on it!. The guy tied flares to helium balloons..HE ADMITTED IT!. However the 1997 sightings were most likely airplanes flying in formation. People reported that and I know one witness who used a high powered telescope and it was clear to her it was airplanes. There is a phenomena called illusory contour. Look that up too. And that's what happened here.
