how was it? it was great. it resulted in me becoming a member of the church and recieveing the gift of the holy ghost. i entered the waters of baptism and a preisthood holder baptised me having the right authority in the name of jesus christ, washing away my sins. coming out of the water i had been born again..
Do a study on what "Being born again" is from the Bible - and what the Bible tells about this nw creation -and you will find that if you still hold to your position - it means you are not born again
i already was born again when i was baptised into jesus christs church, three years ago this month. if i died tonight i would go into the spirit world and teach others untill the second coming of christ. then after his reign on earth for a mellenium i would be judged and placed accordingly. i believe that i will be with my father in heaven once more.
it breaks my heart to see people who have gone through the temple and recieved their endowment and then leave the church. i understand how it can happen but i really wish it didnt.
hmmm, this guy knows alot of the bible... Hey mate, can you please tell me the verse of scripture in the bible that tells you that authority to perform baptisms come from the reception of the spirit? Hmm, there isn't one. But there are plenty that teach us that authority needs to come from someone holding that authority from God already. There are only 2 possiblilties of a true church of Christ catholics and mormons. Both teach they have authority. "mormonsRcorrect"
nice point about holding to some false belief and still be born again. We ALL have to be trained and be discipled. We don't train to become Christians, we become Christians to train. Nice point...
Perhaps the masons were close to the truth but act in the name of man, not God...hmmmm food for thought. I know of both as I AM both, I see where the two are similar but I see them as both being Biblical. Not copies or plagarism but similarly speaking of a few same things in different ways.
Hey, I'm an ex-Mormon (or if you prefer to call me an apostate I'd be flattered if you'd call me that as well), and have found LDS leaders to do an excellent job of covering up not-so-nice things in doctrine and in church history.
LDS is a big business (just like every other religion).
Ok and that was pertinent to my statement, but however, I'll humor your accusations. What "things" are you trying to speak of, exaltation, Mountain Meadows, or would you care to go deeper, none of these are cover ups, they are times that not spoken of because we focus our lives with positive influences, not negative as yourself. You may call yourself what you will, I'm not here for that.
I'm talking about polygamy (which according to D & C 132 will be reinstated one day), Mountain Meadows is indeed not pretty, the Kinderhook Plates, among other things.
Feel free to call me what you will. You believe I'm a Son of Perdition destined for Outer Darkness so you might as well come out and say it.
None know the future, we cannot see what will or won't happen, but all of these things have been addressed so many times that they really do not warrant another discussion. None of these are show stoppers as they all have reasonable explinations if one chooses to analyze and accept both sides of an issue. I'm sorry that you feel this way of yourself but that is your decision and I only wish the best for you and hope for you to find your way back to Jesus Christ.
No offense but I don't need to watch a video by an ex-mormon on temples of the Old Testament to learn about them, I prefer to get my information directly from scripture. The temples of old and new only prove my point as to their validity not to mention necessity. I believe the masons as they are in this day don't know how Biblical their actions are but ultimately they do not act in the name of God, the LDS temples do and that is what makes it's actions reverberate through all existence.
What a idiotic email Daniel! Obviously that Daniel has no idea that his faith is a branch of Freemasonry. Endowment ceremony and the whole sacred or secret of the Joseph Smith Temples has been proven for what it really is.
People finding there way out of Mormonism and the internet are the worst things to have happened to this PLAGIARIZED faith.

How was that new birth you say you have experienced? What did it result in? How did you become born again?

I would suggest that they do a show on H of the M re-enacting an endowment ceremony so people can see what it's really like.
Once you see that, the masonic parts are very, very clear. I say that after having gone through it myself.

Masons---Modeled after King Solomon's Temple
LDS---Direct revelation from God

You should see how the biblical temple was in the OT... I have a series on it here on youtube... Search for "Bible temples 1/2"..
God bless

Since Shawn's dear Mother is a San Diego LDS Temple worker I wonder how far he would go!
Like Alma the Older I am sure his Mother offers up daily prayers in his behalf! Hoping he will QUIT kicking against the pricks!
